VLC is the only media player you need.

pro tip: go to View - Skins - Dark Metro and choose one, they are great. My favorite is DarkCYAN

Musicbee - it doesn't just work which is not to say it just doesn't work. When it works however it does everything you never knew you needed.

This is really the best way to put it. Some call it bloated, but it's not, it just has a lot of features you may or may not want, and it lets you do whatever you want with them, I love it.

foobar if you are capable and willing to put some time into customizing the player to your liking.

i used winamp for years before making the switch to foobar but it isn't supported anymore and most of the skins are shit.
