not that hard to read desu, just some digraphs (rz,cz,ch,sz, dż etc.) and less often trigraphs (drz, dzi) that need to be remembered and some new letters like ż,ł,ó,ą,ę xD i know it still seems strange for you, as for me every balkan language + lithuanian/latvian, which are probably not that hard to read as well (saying it as Pole, idk about Brits with their accent), just have strange spelling rules
