FUCK I was going to post this
Damn, I get it already. Normalfags don't know any of their songs outside of two tracks on LZ IV.
zeppelin live > zeppelin studio
this is a fact
Funny, Christgau thought the opposite.
"Bands like the Rolling Stones and The Who, playing what is essentially glorified pub rock, are able to use the arena setting to amplify their sound and make it stronger. For Led Zeppelin, it's the opposite--they nearly always fail to deliver live as their songs lose important details in the process."
I would say their early live set was their peak as performers. Their 1969 bootlegs are brutally heavy.
Robert Plant is good live.
>HEY HEY MOMMA SAID
the way you suck,
I can tell your man is fuckin' cuck,
Ooh yeah...
Christgau likes pop music what the fuck does he know?
I TIP MY HAT TO THE NEW CONSTITUTION
>HEY HEY MOMMA SAID
COULD SEE BY THE WAY HE MOVE HIS FEET
HIS SISTER THE GIRL HE ALWAYS BEAT.
OHH SAY BABY.
>NORMIEZ DON'T KNOW ABOUT MY OBSCURE LED ZEP DEEP CUTS!
I know that it should no longer faze me, but jesus h christ people on this board are so un self-aware.
...
AND SHE'S BUYING A STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN....
I mean it is true though, not necessarily on Sup Forums, but most people I talk to about led zeppelin are usually like "Yes, I love Kashmir!"
no you know what you aren't getting off that easily.

I can't be bothered with more, but Led Zeppelin are one of the greatest live performers of the time. All 3 of them lose it live, and Plant when he sings properly kills it.
IN THE DAYS OF MY YOUTH
did page just whip out a bowed guitar in 1969
this was not a thing i knew happened
I WAS TOLD WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A MAN
he used it mainly on the first album, though he wasn't the first person to do it, he was definitely one of the best at it.
oh sorry misread. No it's not bowed, he mutes the strings he doesn't want to play. He's breddy damn good at the guitar.
I love Page but that meme with the bow was always cringe
In the 60s/ 70s rock was popular
at this time he was,
by '76 he went a little too sloppy because of the heroin use.
it was quite sad
/gg/ fags always just spam those videos whenever you say anything positive about Jimmy
Zeppelin were absolute demons live in 1969-71, but they did burn out awfully fast because of the insane pace they were on. They were on the road or in the studio almost continuously for nearly four straight years.
and now I've reached that age I try to do all those things the best I can...
BABY BABY BABY BABY
OOOOOOOOOOOOO YEAAAAAAAEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAH
Man, that drum solo in MD is way too freaking long for anyone to sit through.
You were supposed to be stoned af while watching.
