Atheist. He actively hoped that he could somehow convince the german people to adopt the old pagan religious ways because he thought Christianity was too docile of a religion.
The problem with Atheism is that if you believe there is no God then it is philosophically impossible for you to believe in an objective right and wrong.
You can still believe in right and wrong but it all just turns into self-interested moral relativism. Atheists always end up just rationalizing whatever their gut reaction to any situation is.
This is why atheists in general can't be trusted to hold power over others and must always be constrained by a society with rules governed by religious people who can actually have real morality and ethics.

Plenty of Atheists were baptized and never publicly renounced their 'faith' either.
Not persecuting Christians doesn't mean he was Christian. He was an ethno-nationalist who accepted Christianity as part of German culture and tradition as opposed to say Judaism which he say as separate and apart.
But he did hope for a revival of the older Germanic paganism, again because he saw Christianity as too weak of a religion for what he hoped would be a powerful and forceful German national state.

Hmm... I think you are intentionally trying to obfuscate the discussion. Whatever support Hitler or Nazis had from groups or people outside the Nazi party, is only tangentially related to the issue.
The point of this discussion is what were Hitler's beliefs. The preponderance of the evidence shows that Hitler was an atheist who was not above using religion or religious groups to further his own goals. His goals being immoral and the methods of achieving even more so are directly related to his lack of religious belief. Because it was philosophically impossible for him to believe in an objective good or bad. The fact that he may have had some support from some religious people or groups is only irony.
