Ok geniuses, have at this one:

Ok geniuses, have at this one:

There's 200 fish in a tank, 98% of them are small fish and the rest are being larger species. I decide to reduce the amount of small fish in the tank from 98% to 96%. How many fish have I put back?

Hint it's not 4.

Put the fish back in the tank? Put the fish back from whence they came? Bitch where are you putting the fish "back" to? To reduce the percentage of small fish, you'd remove even more from the tank, not put any back in the tank (which is what you implied). Rewrite the question, nigger.

hmm OP might mean large fish being put in there in replacement. I still dont know, its worded like shit

Trips confirm, OP is a roody-poo

Putting them back in to the river obviously sheesh, don't be mad because you can't in to math.

>roody-poo
>roody
>poo

How many small fish did I put back in to the river*

>the rest are being larger species
are you being retarded on purpose?

200/100 = 2
2*96 = 196
200- 196 = 4

192, not 196 sorry

so its 8

Wrong mate :)

OP = faggot

Since no one has the brains to do simple math I'll let you know the answer is 100 fish.

none, faggot

Why would you put back? Just get more water

104

You must be new here
>not knowing what roody-poo is

Answer = 100

:)

there are 4 big fishes, who make 2%. so, if you want 96% small fishes, you still have the 4 big ones, which need to be 4% in the end result. 100% from 4 fishes who are 4% is 100 fishes. which means there need to be 100 fishes left in the tank. the 4 big ones are give, so you need 96 small ones. ergo, you need to remove 100 small fishes.

What?

Currently have 196 small fish and 4 big fish.

remove 4 more small fish to get small fish to 96%

there is no stipulation that the big fish must make up a certain percentage, just that they initially made up 2%

here you go

That's not how math works...

If you have 196 small fish and 4 big fish and you remove 4 more small fish, then you have 192 small fish and 4 big fish.

aka 4/196 of the fish are big and 192/196 are small. and that's 97.9%, not 96%

Answer is 100. L2math
