Is there a website or software that can save threads for after they 404 without me having to stay with the thread until the end? Many times I've found an interesting thread then had to on my work shift or go to my uni classes.

If it's still up, you can still read it live. If it's 404'd while you're gone, 4chanX will redirect you, and you can just read it from the archive.
