Does she feel in charge?

Classic

FOUR MORE WEEKS

Hey guys, why don't we just freeze them?

WHY DONT YOU FREEZE HIM

Right

Why did they say "Another Bug Hunt"

It never made sense. Are there other aliens out there or is it military terminology I'm not familiar with?

Remember that scene? Back on the Sulaco on the briefing.

This bogles my mind till today.

Can somebody please explain?

they reference coming into contact and even fucking extra terrestrial life in that scene.

Maybe they encountered hostile local lifeforms on other colony world's

I always assumed they used the term "just another bug hunt" the same way we say wild goose chase.

They're used to settling disputes on colonies but every now and then someone thinks they've found an alien and they're sent to investigate. But they've never actually found anything before.

Maybe that can shed some light on the issue. It's a huge issue, since they take with them "Ripley" as a consultant.

What do you think fampai?

>doesn't matter when it's arcturian, baby

avp.wikia.com/wiki/Arcturian

How "canon" is the Alien universe canon? That could easily be explained away as Arcturia being colony somewhere and Arcturians just being the colonists.

it's just one throwaway line to signify that that they have come in contact with alien life before
you didn't even read the fucking article
OTHER AYYS OTHER THAN XENOS EXIST FAGGOT

I have a question though... How do I get out of this chicken shit outfit?

Simply secure that shit

Alright, but before we put her in charge, we aught to discuss the bonus situation

Right

Whenever he says *anything* you say "right," Brett, you know that?

There are another extra-terrestrials humans encountered in the Alien universe. The colonials marines are talking about it on the Sulaco.

Right
She is so cute in the first Alien

>Check it out. Independently targeting particle beam phalanx. WHHHHAP!

DRAKE

WE ARE

LEAVING

They've obviously encountered alien life on other planets that they called "bugs" and they thought of them as pushovers, so they underestimated Xenomorphs. It's probably at least partly a reference to Starship Troopers.

Nobody could answer this in a good manor yet. Wondering this myself.

>muh other alyums on other planets

Never even mentioned that they'd refer to them as bugs.

>1986
>starship troopers reference

what is the book

Starship Troopers by Robert A Heinlein

Yeah, I always just took it as they killed local wildlife or settle disputes so they're pretty overkill for most jobs which is why they didn't have a backup plan.

>Hey Vasquez, have you ever been mistaken for a man?

>Never even mentioned that they'd refer to them as bugs.
Everything does not need to be spelled out.

Did the book ever use the term "bug hunt" though? I can't remember. The bugs in the book have nothing to do with the ones in the movie, the term "bug" was intended to be an insult like calling humans "monkeys", IIRC.
