Interesting concept poorly done pretty much every step of the way, John Goodman was the only redeeming performance but he didnt have enough to work with to carry the film.

Hands down one of the best movies of 2016 so far.

The only gripe I have with it is the molotov bringing down a whole alien spaceship part, but there is so much tension leading up to that scene that I'll allow it.

The score is amazing, been listening to it non-stop.

Characters are great; Howard is creepy as fuck and both Emmit and him are really ambiguous as to where they stand on the good/bad ladder.

And oh my god that fucking tension throughout the whole movie.

In the end, the movie is complete; every character has had his satisfying conclusion and Michelle can finally grow to be the hero she always regretted not being.

Probably the best movie I've seen all year it's a solid 8/10 for me. I feel like 2016 has been pretty disappointing for movies so far

Just finished watching it. Overall, I liked it. The actor's all did a good job, especially John Goodman. Story never felt lagging to me. I knew that the aliums were coming because I was spoiled here, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it anyways.

what are you talking about? It's an original idea, how the fuck is it a cash grab? Those capeshit films, reboots and remakes are all cash grabs. You can dislike the movie but it wasn't as motivated by money like those soulless marvel or dc films are.
