the one that came out a couple years ago has good gameplay but the credit system confuses the fuck out of me because I dont have enough credits to unlock the next mission along with the plane tree they got going on

I think its the best of the 3. A lot of people hated 2 because it was so linear but i feel like 3 kinda combines the best elements of 1&2 but it wouldnt be a souls game without shit netcode and bugs im actually on it right now on my 4th run

It was developed by the original developer, instead of being what amounts to a licensed knock off. The engine is the same as Bloodborne's IIRC. I haven't played it, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if it was better than 2

I'll second New Vegas, far and away the best Fallout game a true RPG with depth that puts Bethesda's efforts to shame. I would love to have seen what Obsidian would have done if Bethesda gave them time to finish it.

My favorite used to be Mass Effect 2 because I loved the setting and characters; but Mass Effect 3 fucked up the ending of the series so badly that it dimmed my love for ME2 and for ME1.

Either the first KOTOR or Super Smash Bros: Melee. Surprised to see all these NV picks though, personally thought that fallout 3 was better. Better map, and I preferred the serious and immersive atmosphere as opposed to the wacky atmosphere of NV

You weren't playing close enough attention to New Vegas and giving 3 credit it didn't deserve if you think it was more serious or immersive.

3 has the illusion of seriousness, its factions are grittier, its enemies aren't as wacky; but when you look under the hood and think a little your realize how little sense it makes.

Credit where credit's due though the Tranquility Lane mission was fucking genius.

You guys tried the new Survival mode in F 4?

I made a new character about a week ago. It's pretty tough but fun for me.

I'm a big fan of both KOTORs too. I was kind of bummed they made it into an MMO.
