First synopsis for The Mummy starring Tom Cruise

>Thought safely entombed in a crypt deep beneath the unforgiving desert, an ancient queen (Sofia Boutella of Kingsman: The Secret Service and Star Trek Beyond) whose destiny was unjustly taken from her is awakened in our current day, bringing with her malevolence grown over millennia and terrors that defy human comprehension. From the sweeping sands of the Middle East through hidden labyrinths under modern-day London, The Mummy brings a surprising intensity and balance of wonder and thrills in an imaginative new take that ushers in a new world of gods and monsters.

possible Mummy concept art

is tom cruise the mummy?

Now I'm hyped for this shitty cinematic universe

Wait, what happened to the original actor?

What was his name again?

if xemu ever escaped his electronic mountain trap would he be a mummy?

No he is Brendan Fraser

The mummy is female now?
Are they still building a cinematic monster universe?
I liked Dracula Untold. It was fun.

Thank you based secretive insider

HEY O'CONNELL!

Yes they are. Angelina Jolie will be Frankenstein's Bride, Johnny Depp is Invisible Man.

Imagine if they brought in HG Wells' the time traveller? And they all get together and go back in time to stop Dracula.

Would be epic but doubt that will happen

>The Mummy is a stronk wymmyn now

Of course she fucking is

But Dracula confirmed for not being the main villain, it's Tywin Lannister.
Is he still Caligula, or that's out of the window?

Maybe she will hit on Cruise like the 1999 Mummy hit on Rachel?

I'd love to see that

>The Mummy wins because women can't be weak

>not wanting to be femdommed by qt mummy
>not wanting to be pegged by sand and scarab beetles

Fuck limpdicked cuck

Sorry I am not familiar with those names.

>secretive insider

user, Universal released the synopsis here: The concept art was from a thread awhile back

I liked it too

WAT!? holy shit this is gonna be dope

Shut up Sup Forums, hot mummies are cool. Go jack it to Anime Butt Academy 3 somewhere else.

LOOKS LIKE I GOT ALL THE HORSES

Dance's elder vampire was Caligula in original script, but they omitted it from the final draft

Maybe she's A mummy, not THE mummy.

DRACULA UNTOLD is not part of the new universe. They'll introduce another Dracula later.

ii dunno what's going on ITT or if anyone is seriously excited for this piece of shit franchise and it's cashgrab future, but...

damn he looks old as fuck

sucks to be luke evans

> an ancient queen (Sofia Boutella of Kingsman: The Secret Service and Star Trek Beyond) whose destiny was unjustly taken from her
Of course. She can't be bad, she will be a misunderstood victim. Mark my words, she will be redeemed by theend

unless things have changed. But I hope its part of it. The movie itself was pretty standalone so its not like it will effect the other movies. Plus it ends in present day (where the monster universe will be set) and Luke Evans was pretty good.

Yes it is

>Universe
Wait what? Why are every movie company doing "cinematic universes" all of the sudden?

>DCU
>MCU
>Kaiju cinematic universe
>Hannah Barbera CU (s.c.o.o.b)

And now Universal Monsters CU??

She looks parched. I bet she's hurtin' for a squirtin'.

The Mummy is being treated as the first.

It was said Dracula Untold was produced before the idea came around, but producers were willing to work around to include it if it was a success, and it wasn't;

>characters can't be female
eat shit. you don't fit in

>it if it was a success, and it wasn't

It had a small budget of $70mil. and made $217 world wide.

Sounds too adventure orientated. I thought they were going back to the roots of the series.

They better include it.
Frasier's mummy were adventure, and no one who saw the original movies is even alive anymore.
