He's supposed to be 19 not 34

Everybody gets aged up, as teenage actors suck.

Is it true that Jew and Jew are getting so lazy, that they want the next two seasons to be even shorter?

If so, it's fucking stupid. GoT is obviously an expensive show to produce, but 10 episodes a season is nothing. A few years back you had incredibly expensive shows like LOST doing 24 hour long episode seasons, and no one complained like D&D do now. GoT should have a 13 episode season, and if it did maybe they wouldn't have so many abandoned characters / plotlines / characters written out of the show altogether.

>Is it true that Jew and Jew are getting so lazy, that they want the next two seasons to be even shorter?

It isn't that they're lazy, it's that they burned thru the first five books in only five season of a measly 10 episodes each and now have no more books to loot and fuck up.

So HBO is splitting the last "season" into two of 6 and 7 episodes each, so that subscribers will pay that cable bill for two years...

>LOST doing 24 hour long episode seasons, and no one complained

Literally everyone complained about Lost. They complained when there were reruns, they complained when the seasons ran straight without reruns, they complained when they gave us the ARG. Holy shit, were you even alive back then?

What are you talking about? I'm saying the producers of LOST didn't bitch and moan that making a 24 episode season was difficult like D&D whine and cry about making a 10 episode season.

>the producers of LOST didn't bitch
Then why did they switch to 16 episode seasons? Lindelof and Cuse basically demanded it.

What the fuck even goes on over here?

Writers strike happened at first, and ABC wanted to downsize as well because it was so expensive to produce.

Asian shit.

>Writers strike happened at first
Nope, seasons 4-6 were announced to be 16 episodes over a year before the writers strike.

Rape

Real thread shitlords

why are there so many of these fucking threads

Does anyone else actually hate the map for GoT?

It feels so unrealistic, perhaps because its too big, I just think its a poorly designed fantasy map, the land masses just feel wrong

>Then why did they switch to 16 episode seasons?

Because Hollywood figured out you'd still watch no matter how few episode were produced.

Star Trek was putting out 20+ episodes per year, year after year and at one point, doing two separate series simultaneously but somehow, HBO can only do 10 episodes of GoT per season?...

What shape is their planet?

HBO doesn't depend on advertising money like regular channels do.

And having longer shows with tons of filler isn't their style, otherwise they'd be like other channels except you get movies too.

>Does anyone else actually hate the map for GoT?

I don't hate it and it's better then most but clearly, GRRM ain't no cartographer, he's got the Trident running _up hill_ for R'hllor's sake...

yes

>L shaped world

Yet there still manages to be tons of filler in GoT's ten episodes, while major side characters are killed off or never introduced, and other plotlines completely forgotten.

Standard round shape.

Because it's just a long brick with a mountain range completely perpendicular to it.

HBO's yearly profits are $2 BILLION.

That "filler" is either character development or getting a character somewhere D&D need them to be.

They have to cut a lot of shit otherwise game of thrones is gonna get outrageously long and impossibly expensive.

with some of the actors now getting Hollywood roles, getting awards and getting very popular, contract negotiations would absolutely kill profits

The goal of a business is to make more profit, not spend it so a couple of autists are happy

That's revenue, not profit.

>That "filler" is either character development or getting a character somewhere D&D need them to be.

LOL!

>whatever I don't like is filler

Fuck off

No, that's profit. HBO is available all over the world and people all over the world are forking out every month for it.

>le mysterious Eastern land where all magic and dragons come from
>but we're not gonna show it
>ever

DABID, please.

Talisa is now filler?

Top fucking kek.

Fuck off m8

Are you stupid or something?

How much do you think GRRM just makes up cool or mysterious sounding names for all these places without any actual backstory for them. It's not like there's a chance any character will go to "Carcosa" or The Five Forts.
