How come Poe Dameron said he was just in sanitation in the first order but at the start of the movie it shows him as a stormtrooper in the battle in the village?

it was a joke

because a galaxy far far away is actually hell

Answer me this:

>hurr you wouldnt believe all the terrible things Ive seen
>bails after his first deployment in battle

Because it is a terrible film with terrible writing.

He said that he worked in the new death Star as a sanitation guy

Do you think they spent more than an hour writing it?

whoa

some of the things that can end up in a clogged shitter are mind-boggling.

In case this is a genuine retarded person and not a troll thread

He (Finn, not Poe Dameron) his job on Starkiller base was sanitation. When he was stationed on Starkilled Base. Later he was a stormtrooper, hence it was his first mission.

He saw an entire village get massacred and he also witnessed how they built a giant death ball that can destroy planets.

>durr I'm pretending to be too dumb to understand a movie 12 year old can understand!!!

>He saw an entire village get massacred
I really wish this scene were more powerful, but it's so hard to react to violence in these kind of movies.

>Poe Dameron

>giant death ball
>giant
>death
>ball
I don't recall seeing much of that.

learn English you moron

Starkiller Base was giant dead ball

Why would they ever need people in sanitation when there are droids and AI

Worse it was a Clerks reference

Because when Kylo was getting ready to raid the resistance on Jaku he asked for volunteers to help him take out the trash.

If you're talking about the fact that they just let off a quip right after it happens, I agree.

Not only that we had no buildup to his friend and him being friends. So many people try to compare it to Saving Private Ryan's opening scene, but if you can't go full "war is hell" it just looked silly.

>doesn't want to kill people
>goes on to daughter dozens of stormtroopers with a genuine smile on his face
>even though he knows they're brainwashed orphans
Why is death treated so casually in the SW universe?

In the First Order every man is a rifleman.

Would it not have been a better movie/story if Finn had been the main character?

>somehow breaks conditioning
>escapes with Po but gets separated on jakku
>alone for the first time in his life, he struggles to adjust to life outside of military discipline
>having followed orders his whole life, Finn has to learn what is right and wrong, he struggles to find a moral compass
>eventually, he finds purpose in the Resistance
>unlike the other members of the Resistance, he recognizes the humanity in his former comrades, the storm troopers are not faceless mooks to him, they have names and personalities and Finn knows they're being brainwashed
>Finn wants to save the enemies, not kill them, this puts him at odds with the other members of the Resistance, who question his loyalties.
>Finn is also at odds with himself, the mission on Jakku was not his first and he is dealing with the guilt of what he did as a stormtrooper
>he claims to be a sanitation worker because he's afraid of what the Resistance might think of him if they knew the truth.
>when Finn eventually confronts Phasma, he does not quip or mock her. It is a tense fight as Finn is facing someone he respects and wants to save. Phasma sees Finn as her greatest failure and is trying to convince him to rejoin the First Order. During the fight, she reminds him of the camaraderie of their old unit and berates him, suggesting that while the Resistance might claim to accept him, deep down, they'll always hate him.

ThisNow that they have female troops, it's probably worse. Have you ever had to clean the women's restroom?

Becayse military enlisted have side jobs on their military bases, to make it more understandable to the audience.

>Dozens of stormtroopers murdered in firefights
>Luke has a kill count of roughly half a million people
>Tarkin blew up ~6 billion people
>Ginger Hitler incinerated like 25 billion

Jesus christ

He saw the terrible things on his first deployment. Pay attention.

do real armies promote janitors to soldiers that escort politcal figures on important meetings/missions?

Nobody actually talks about the huge plotholes.
