It's a manga that's been running for 20+ years now, and it's pretty incredible. One of the things that's most interesting about it, is that the author has basically reinvented himself in his style several times throughout the series, while still keeping it true to its roots. During the first 10 volumes (referred to collectively as the "Golden Age" arc), it's basically gritty 80s style manga of purely dark medieval warfare, becoming borderlined historical fiction. but in volumes 11-12+ literally hell opens up and pours itself onto earth evil dead style but in a completely serious manner. Over the next ~5 volumes you have every bit of bad in his world corrupted and risen to full blown demonic rape-fests; corrupt priests burning everyone at the stake, packs of roving goblins kidnapping women, raping and impregnating them to make more monsters, an evil god-emporer who tries to take over the world etc. It then turns into a traditional swords/sorcery fantasy where Guts assembles a team of rag-tag heroes to destroy the five God Hands of hell, one of whom was his best friend and rival during the Golden Age.

Not much, played some of the Painkiller DLC but they're pretty boring so I only played 1 level from them. Played some RS and got my firecape finally, not sure what I'll do now but I'll think of something, you?

Wanna take a break before I ever do it again, I almost completely fucked up when I got to Jad and misclicked the prays 3 times and still managed to survive; hand was shaking non-stop.

Need to do that as well but thieving is a cunt to train. Haven't tried blackjacking though so it might be better.

Lucky that you got out of it alive after misclicking that much. I guess the strategy is just to heal up a little at a time.
I kept trying to switch too much in anticipation, was pretty nervous as well.
Pyramid Plunder isn't terrible, I trained using that and it was bearable, I think.
Alternatively, do diaries and use the lamps for that.

Eh, diaries are even more of a pain. Only one I've done so far is Varrock easy since the armour it gives is useful for mining.

Only makes a difference in the non-Jad waves, leaving me with more supplies at the end.
Jad can still 1-hit me as he did twice.

The teleports some of the others give are pretty nice.
If you have the stats for finish some off, only takes like an hour.

First time through I was running around like crazy on later waves, had a much easier time when just waiting behind Italy rock before each wave and taking on only a few at once.
Only 3-4 times did I get bad spawns and you have to flick pray melee when running past the 180 to safespot him.
4th time's the charm. Might try again soon.
