Ask someone who worked on The Bachelorette / other reality TV shows anything. I will be completely honest.

why haven't you an hero?
because I like my job
how much of the show is scripted?
Actually, not as much as people think. Obviously production tries to control as much as they can. But in the end, the cast are all just regular people, you can't force them to do something that they don't want to do. The bachelorette does consult with producers before every rose ceremony for a couple of hours to discuss who they want to send home. They will try to keep the people who cause drama around longer (Daniel).
What did you work as?
Got any scoop on Operation Repo?
I worked in the casting department
then why aren't there any fat bachelors?
most of that show is fake. Think about it, most people wouldn't react that way when their car is getting taken away. They hire actors to freak out and then blur their faces to make it seem real.
I'm not saying they do that every time, but they do it a lot.
Ever jacked it to the bacholorettes?
They only want hot people on the show. They want to make it like a fantasy for people watching. And unfortunately, most of America doesn't want to watch someone who is anything less than an 8/10.
well, no. I'm not attracted to them. They're almost like colleagues.
Interesting. I had always thought they encouraged the bachelor(ette) to keep the drama makers for ratings.
Why is Jojo or w/e the current bachelorette on television? She's literally the worst contestant I've ever seen. Do you know if Ben kept her because the producers didn't have any other options for their next bachelorette? He obviously never showed any interest. I speculated that he picked Lauren about half way through the season, and the producers selected Jojo as the bachelorette, and asked him to keep her to the end and pretend to be interested.
They definitely do keep people for ratings. Daniel, from this season is a good example. Jojo HATED him, but they forced her to keep him around for drama. Same for Chad.
Ben actually did like her, he's kinda retarded though. Jojo makes a good bachelorette because she was made to seem like a victim. It's good for ratings. Producers often do have someone in mind to be the bachelor/bachelorette well before the season is done filming.
I've only heard snippets from this season. My girlfriend wants me to watch, to which I always reply "I hope Jojo dies cold and alone" she's literally the most boring, bland victim in history.
I liked Caila, but knew she wasn't dumb enough to do the show again. I'm surprised to hear that Ben actually liked Jojo. I know that INSANE amounts of editing go into the show, but until the 3rd to last episode the audience saw ZERO interest in her.
I'm interested - what fun facts and secrets are there? Anything crazy go on in bens season we didn't see?
I cant go into too much detail about behind the scenes, just because I signed an NDA. But Caila was actually chosen to be the bachelorette for this season. Mainly because ABC was under fire for not having anyone of color be the bachelorette. But then the network realized that Jojo would be a better for the role after america tagged her as "heartbroken" and a "victim".
A few secrets might be that they do 2-3 takes of some things to get different angles. Or if something goes wrong. They want to make it seem as perfect as possible, like a fantasy land.
Also, Jojo doesnt ever pick who she goes on dates with. Producers make 80% of those decisions.
I would have watched Caila. They made a shitty decision.
You're under NDA? So what. This is Sup Forums. There are tons of people that have the same information you do. Give me details. It's already been proven they take multiple takes. People have spotted fallacies with wrist bands jumping from one wrist to the other, bra straps, etc.
Obviously the producers pick. They blatantly demonstrate it on the show.
You can't come to Sup Forums promising to have juicy details and not tell us anything we don't know. Be a Sup Forumsro
I don't even care about this season.
Okay, what do you want to know.
No idea. Actual secrets of the show. Times that producers blatantly manipulated the outcome. Criminal charges? Dirt on contestants? I don't know what there is to be had that is not available to the public. You tell me. I'm most invested in Bens season. Him and Lauren were both boring af and bland. They're perfect for each other. Do you know if Ben fucked Jojo? Did he tell the producers that he picked Lauren earlier than the finale?
We knew after episode 3 that he would pick her. Every night after the dates when we would separate them, he would always complain of blue balls. Even some of the women said they had "lady blue balls".
Producers sometimes tell them who to propose to, just so they can save someone else for bachelor in paradise, or of the bachelorette or bachelor.
The cast arent really allowed to interact outside of on-camera time. They're locked in their rooms all day and night if theres no filming happening. They have no radio no TV, no phone, no books, no nothing, They can only talk to "cast care", which are basically babysitters for the cast.
Yeah, I know the they showed the audience the "chemistry" after like episode 6. Obviously the first "date" went well. What do the contestants do in their rooms? Just chill with cast care?
Did Ben fuck Jojo? How much of his "interest" in her was genuine? Did he actually mean that he loved her, or was that just a plot twist the producers scripted?
The cast sleep and eat a lot (the guys), the girls sleep and work out. Most of the girls barely eat anything. The cast is usually super bored the whole time. A lot of the cast become best friends with the cast care team.
I'm actually not sure if they fucked, most of the crew isnt allowed in that area during filming. Only the higher up people.
His interest was mostly genuine. It just worked as a plot twist.
Any info on Olivia? I wanted to ram my cock down her throat since the first time I saw her. Did she really break up with her boyfriend to go on the show, or just gossip? Was she as crazy as we saw?
