always top 3 in medal count nigga
Dont know dont care
we will rekt the americans at the 4x100 freestyle relay
im confident
We will win the swimming ones for sure.
Maybe one in rowing
Likely one in football
I don't think Nelson Évora is fit enough to get one in triple jump
Could be fortunate to get one in race walk
Don't give a shit. I just watch
Probably win some silver and bronze
Maybe like 2 golds at best?
is catching disease a sport?
Not
I'm sure the women will win plenty of golds, but the men will probably flounder again
at least the men shouldn't lose to britain this time, they'll probably lose to china though
I don't give a shit.
It's a question of "how much will America win by?". It always is. America winning in the medal count is a given.
>medal count
we literally lost to great britain last time in the only ones that matter (men's golds)
and we lost to china in 08
>canucks at the olympics
And what's your point?
I already admitted we're shit here Doesn't change the fact that
>medal count
>3 good chances at gold medals already ruled out
meh
not like I'm going to be able to watch much, americas are the worst timezone ever
I don't know if you care about winter but the next three Olympics are pretty much in your timezone
fuck, that means they're not in mine
reeeeeeeee
especially if I'm not neet and by then I'll have to be not neet or homeless probably
reeeeeeeee
I'm confident in men's figure skating and maybe a few team sports - men's basketball, women's water polo, synchro, etc.
If we aren't screwed by doping tests, that is.
I'm looking forward to the banter and memes but not so much about the sports themselves. Probably won't even watch any, just shitpost and pretend I did on Sup Forums.
If only the USA can send an unlimited number of athletes
Well dominate the cycling, sailing and rowing as usual.
Be lucky to get 20 golds this time around tbqh.
pooleys body looks really comfy to snuggle up
USAwinslol
Who will win the Rugby Sevens? Obviously won't be us. Fiji or New Zealand?
We will probably win one or 2 bronzes and a silver.
We have been shit in the past 2 olympics.
>canada irrelevant in rowing now
>doesn't even have an 8 team because not enough rowers
Fuck hockey culture
Hopefully.
I literally don't know and don't care, I'm just going to watch for the disasters.
>will will win womens, but that doesnt really count
Canada gonna meme their way to women's gold
If anyone of them manages to get any medal, it'd be pretty much a success for me.
But just like the few last olympic games, here's hoping for the gold on women's Field Hockey and men's Football.
Women or the men's Sevens.
>a fucking leaf
I want at least 10 golds, 4 of them being between Soccer and Volley, but i know it's a bit difficult. If we get top 10 it will be good enough
>medal count
>brazil
>winning soccer gold
wew
Brazil will never be allowed to tie Canada in soccer golds
...

How good is the US apehoop team?
They lost many of their players, can Spain beat them this time?
Muh dick
...
GBR won't dominate the cycling this time around. Everyone else has gotten a lot stronger.
We'll have Rui Costa, so we actually stand a chance afaik
Willy hears ya
willy does not care
I couldn't name a single person who will compete for Germany in the Olympics.
Will rekt everyone in water polo
Djokovic will kill
and maybe basketball if we even qualify
Michael Phelps will win more golds than most countries, that will be fun to watch I guess.
Pretty good at chess, weightlifting, boxing and wrestling. So, basically all of the irrelevant shit.
I think phelps retired senpai, no swim goat this year
don't think we'll do as good as 2008 or 2012 since we already hosted the olympics so the funding has likely decreased plus a lot of key athletes have retired. top 5 in the medal table would be a good achievement.
I only follow the boxing and we have a pretty strong team. I think we have a fighter in every weight class.
Joyce, Okolie, McCormack and Ali are the ones to watch, in my opinion. Cordina is also very good but he's in a particularly tough division.
No he's back
He was great in the swimming trials
Super bacteria is my olympic team

You guys will more than likely be top 5 again despite losing host advantage
USA China being 1-2 or vice versa is a lock again
Russia has the athletics ban so they are no longer guaranteed top 3. They'll probably still be top 5
Brazil won't take advantage of host advantage so they're out
So you're left with GB, Germany, France and maybe Australia for those last two top 5 spots
