>inb4 hate because mainstream

nope, that will come with my pic :)

...

Slayer-raining blood 30 min of pleasures

...

...

This.

...

Like it wasn't fucking obvious that album would get posted.

So ?

...

Thrash doesn't get any better than this

...

NO LIFE TILL LEATHER

What are we supposed to say about this?

fpbp

NEGOTIATIONS ARE OVER

It's such an underrated album.

why did suicidal insist on dressing like latino gangbangers?

...

I may like Master of Puppets more, but for straight thrash, I'll go with pic related.

I don't understand people who think Pleasure to Kill is #1

because a couple of the members actually were in latino gangs

...

Check out pic related, one of the greatest obscure 80s thrash bands ever. Those dudes were much better than shit like tankard or destruction IMO

>no sodom

agent orange

Agent Orange is a meme.

M-16 is the real shit.

Thats not even thrash

If And Justice For All is thrash then Cowboys From Hell is thrash

Metal Church is on that line of speed/thrash
It's just as acceptable as Kill Em All

These, and pic related

captcha: oceanic playing

Not really. There isn't a single song on the Metal Church S/T that's thrash from start to finish. KEA has Whiplash, No Remorse, and Metal Militia.

Neither album is an exultation of pure thrash spirit like pic related tho

I want to post The Years of Decay, Horrorscope, Under The Influence, Taking Over, Feel The Fire... but that would probably be overkill

Was Paul Baloff possessed or what?

>no sepultura

...

God these album artworks are so superior to what you get nowadays

...

This album has the best range of songs ITT

MY
NIGGER

Although their first is better imo

Also great, but I like By Inheritance better because of better production, more technical playing and the changed vocal style. Not as brutal as Fear Of Tomorrow, but my favourite.

this x100

Bay Area Thrash + Swedish Hardcore + Pop-Punk = AWESOME?!

M-16 is a great album but is more post-thrash than anything. That said, Obsessed By Cruelty is their best album.

...

Prove me wrong

I followed Vektor since 2008 and they have not released anything better than Black Future imo.

And no I'm not lying.

>nobody posted this yet

I'm disappointed Sup Forums

>And no I'm not lying.
No, you're just wrong ;)

the title track has one of the coolest riffs.

WE ARE GONNA KICK SOME ASS TONIGHT

not even close to as good as the real sabbat

Overhyped and overrated to shit,
Vektor are absolute trash and you know it.

Now these thread is full of good ass albums. Great taste bois.

if you're talking about the meme japanese band then kill yourself

Thrash is by far the metal subgenre I listen to the most and this is the most impressive thrash album I've ever heard.
I'm not saying it's objectively the best but anyone interested in the genre MUST give this a listen.

going to bump with other great albums.

Ostatni Wojownik. The greatest european thrash album I know.
You think the germans know how to thrash? Think again. Poland is where it's at.

HELL
YEAH
MOTHER
FUCKER

I got this CD last week, and its driving me crazy

Especially this song

youtube.com/watch?v=YhifbWuihx8

Much better than Slayer.

This album here is complete insanity. It has a noticeable punk/hardcore edge that gives is some extra aggression that many thrash bands lack. Every instrument is loud as fuck, the riffs vary from fast shreds to irresistible grooves, the vocalist has attitude and the lyrics are hilariously over the top. If you want want to bang you head like a maniac, look no further.

I don't think I really need to say anything about this masterpiece, just posting since I didn't see in the thread.

Not sure if mixed genres are ok to post, but this is too good to pass up.
Simply put, this is THE Power/Thrash album. The mixing is pretty bad, but that is seriously the only flaw I can find. One of the albums most worthy of the "hidden gem" title.

...

this is the peak of thrash metal music, it will never be surpassed

If this album's goal was to recreate the chaos of a satanic orgy, it fucking succeded.
One of the most intense Death/Thrash albums ever recorded, the songs are blasts of pure fury.
The vocalist deserves a special mention. The most batshit insane vocal performance I have ever heard in a thrash album, it's downright inspirational. He simply does as he pleases.

Surprised this wasn't posted yet.
This is pure metal. Simple as that. I'm yet to meet anyone that thinks this is a bad album in any way. You either love it or you LOVE it.

Superior to the debut, which was already a great album, this album is consistenly packed with tasty riffs and fantastic vocals.

What's this? Prog Thrash? Maybe. What it is for sure is one of the most unique thrash albums of all time. And unlike most """"prog"""" thrash bands, Dragon doesn't sacrifice any speed or aggression in favor of pretentious songwriting.
Yep, the poles do know how to thrash.

...

It's their real masterpiece that very few recognize. It was more evil and heavy than anything on Reign In Blood with the exception of Altar of Sacrifice.

...

...

This is a pretty underrated one

My contribution, dont know how this thread's gone this long without it

>tfw Infernal Majesty opened for destruction at the first show I ever went to
>didnt even know who they were at the time
I didnt even realize the treat I was in for, what a kickass band

...

Ticket to Mayhem-Had that on cassette. Love Whiplash.

...

...

But it's not purely thrash. It's like a fusion of melodic Iron Maiden metal and thrash.

Surprisingly enough the French made some decent stuff too

youtube.com/watch?v=3xEeKSn_3Ok

Had this vinyl when it came out. My mom took it from me and threw it away. That shit was hot though! I got to listen to it at home one time! Hah

...

...

...

god damn this album cover is beautiful

In the Sign of Evil > Obsessed of Cruelty
wut? boi fite me
that's not Black Future
this dood gets it
I strongly disagree

Badass album too!

Honorable mention!

Groove Metal maybe but crosses over

IT WAS YOUUUUUUUU

reminds me of Master

Can't believe I forgot these guys

noice, that chorus has stuck in my head since I first heard it.
