Melt.

released January 22, 2016

I guess this must literally be the biggest sleeper of the year.

Ayy, I saw Bent Knee in concert last month. Great show.

>album starts with static

Did Bent Knee ever do anything better than "Being Human" on their new album? I listened to their last album and nothing quite came close

...

Bottomless Pit

...

This shit right here.

same, i went into this album expecting to hate it because his fanbase is fucking awful and full of pseudo-intellectual teenagers, but was pleasantly surprised

I don't know, man. Sure In God We Trust and Being Human set highs Say So might just not reach but I found it to be more consistently good, and a much more cohesive and flowing experience. Can't even choose a fav. track out of it, I just really liked the whole thing.

Let the wildest drums known to man kick in and get yourself ready for a mammoth ride.

They're next level tight, aren't they?

starboy

this is underrated

...

Who else /skip ultralight beam when starting TLOP/ here

...

my man

it has just become joe dart the band and i'm not even upset. Daddy he got a tesla and dean town is some of the smoothest groove ever recorded.
Really need more funk like that in my life.

:^) come at me

gave it a listen yesterday

trash/10

fun fact : there are many other funk bands that did/do better than Vulfpeck

my nigga
who /saintpablo/ here?

>Starboy
>Rockin
>Secrets
>Stargirl Interlude
>I Feel it Coming

only great songs, everything else was meh

i'll just leave this here

11/10

Everyone focuses on Joe Dart and I don't really know why. I guess they haven't really been exposed to many great bass players or something. As a bass player of 10+ years, nothing Joe does really wows me, not because I don't think it's great, but because that's what I've come to expect from a lot of the music I listen to. Songs like Tesla I was wowed by the drums, and then I see all the comments online are just endlessly gushing about Joe Dart.

Woody is the member I enjoy paying specific attention to.

Music isn't about what's better. Just because something might be better doesn't mean you can't enjoy it. And while I do spend most of my time listening to the 60s and 70s stuff, Vulf are some of the only guys playing that kinda stuff and recording that way in this day and age. They have a broad range of influences and skills that let them create more than 'just funk' music, and their aesthetic/marketing etc make them a real joy to be a fan of.

>Boris
>Witchcraft

mah nigga
No Ulcerate or Mithras tho ?

please tell me everything about these pieces of shit

>ulf are some of the only guys playing that kinda stuff and recording that way in this day and age

uhm, no ? there are many funk bands currently playing and releasing great stuff. all Vulpeck has is a broader exposure and marketing

I just heard Ulcerate for my first time the other day and it was good but I'm pretty much done for the year. Starting Mithras now.

but yeah especially Witchcraft has been really underrated this year.

these too?

Nice collection user

danke

I'm looking forward to starting a new box with a new year

blew me away

...

how big is your all time collection?
how much money did you spend?

no idea really on either and this is like my third or fourth collection I think. I've sold everything in my life a few times.

TLoP or This

underrated (TST)

seriously though, I went from never even hearing of Isaiah to having this album be one of my favorites. Pretty much every track is gold

Surprisingly good (Minor Victories)

>life of pablo
>good

Whhat about this

>Implying music taste isn't subjective

Didn't even know about this. Liking it so far.

i don't see a lot of that in music huh

>filename
>"United Asscrushers"

TLOP or AMSP

I recognize them not being the best in the artist's discographies by far, but for some reason I get warm fuzzy feelings from both of them.

>implying implications
