I'm 18, I look like a giant 13 yr old, I have zero armpit hair, barely any arm or leg hair, my metabolism is pure dogshit, I constantly get sick, I'm sporting a 4", and I'm 40 lbs overweight.

I have several questions:
Any similar stories? Did it get better?
Is this my body's prime?
Any advice on how to change anything?
Should I just get it over with and kill myself?

I've tried every diet in the book, paleo included.
I can bench 55 lbs max after frequent gym visits, but I am on the swim team.
Hardly play vidya. I make movies and do woodwork when I get the chance.
I know Spanish, German, and Korean from living with relatives/neighbors.

Killing yourself would be the easy way out.

Once you start setting goals for yourself and accomplish them, you will set higher goals and reach them. Find out what motivates you in life and make your entire day resolve around it.

I've been through the worst of leukemia and that sort for 8 years of my childhood, but I only view it as a positive thing, I don't look at my body negatively, because my hair never went back to normal or I didn't grow as much in puberty as my twin brother did.

You need to live the rest of your life, so spending a single moment in your every day looking at life negatively is gonna make you look at your life in a negative way.

Look at your body in a positive way, look at all the opportunities you have and be fortunate with them, because you can accomplish new goal with these opportunities.

I've tried lifting on my own and with my brother-in-law. I haven't given up but I'm showing very little progress. It's been 2 years.

If its been 2 years and haven't made any progress you are lifting wrong. I can give you a very basic workout schedule and diet if you would like it but you'd have to stick to it.

I thought lifting was pointless until I got a trainer and he kicked my ass into shape. Went from 6'4 350 to 260.

Oh also if you have a lot of fat around the pelvis it hides your dick length a bit. I was 5 inches just about when fat af but the inch and a half or so of fat receded and now it looks much nicer (atleast to me).

Just eat less you fucking fat fuck, I literally halved all of my food portion sizes and completely replaced soft drinks with their sugar-free versions and lost 30kg in 4 months. You have no excuse.

Jesus fucking christ I'm fat, not stupid. I know a thing or two about nutrition and portion control. Last month I was on a juice fast; lost 3 pounds. Before that, I fasted for 4 days, ate paleo for two, then repeated for about 3 weeks. Lost 8 pounds. Steadily getting to my ideal weight, but it's taking longer than I've seen other people on weight loss forums.

Taking out soda/pop from your diet is huge. It takes a while to get over the craving for sugar, but ditching all of those drinks is the best you can do for your health and for your brain.

40 lbs / 18 kilos overweight is not a lot.

I have a friend who lost 100 kgs in 2 years, but he was already 120 kgs overweight so he just threw it all of.

The more overweight you are, the easier it is to lose it.

You may think you are overweight because your BMI says so, but there's a lot to it. There is something known as bone density that is different from person to person and there is also different ways to store your fat, which makes it easier or harder to get rid off.

Next thing is muscles, you may have more muscles than you just think you have.

I would recommend a DEXA scan, but they are hard to come by and pretty expensive if you want to just get one done. I've had them done a couple of times and they give you really good info on my opinion.
