At most its nu-metal-core ala Throwdown's later records

System of a Down - Mesmerize & Hypnotize
...and Steal This Album
and Toxicity.
Basically any SOAD album.
why not? it walks like a duck, talks like a duck it even follows the quiet verses/loud chorus formula. if your criteria for qualifying as nu metal is "i dont like it" as it seems for a lot of people, then i could make sense of you
Early Sepultura wss black metal. Then they became thrash metal/groove metal. They were around long before nu meyal hit. On their last couple of albums they drew influence from world music which is perhaps where you guys are getting confused.
Cavalera went on to form Soulfly which are much more nu metal.
Anything by System of a Down
Slipknot's first two albums
That's all I got
groove metal is pretty much nu metal though
SOAD, Korn and Deftones have a couple of good albums.
objectively all limp bizkit albums except rmv and even that isn't really bad
Literally the only good album Linkin Park has ever released.
this.
soad, slipknot and korn are closer to nostalgia core
gold cobra?
gold
fucking
cobra
explain that. explain that to us right now
Possibly their worst in my opinion, the whole thing feels so forced and like they were trying so hard and consistently failing to make something interesting and unique. Both Meteora and Living Things are miles ahead of ATS. The only album of theirs that I've heard that might be worse is Minutes to Midnight.
Out of the LP albums I listened, it was the only one that managed to grab my interest the whole way through. The previous one had so many tracks that sound similar to each other that sometimes I could barely tell one from the other, ATS had a lot of variety. Even if not all of their attempts at experimenting were very good, I can at least compliment the effort.
it's great?
it showcases wes' riffs?
the production shows off sam's basslines and rhythmn sections?
the sound design is fucking amazing?
dumb pleb
