Hey guys, was there any good music in 1993? Apart from Hum of Life and Птицa, I am really struggling to find something. Which is confusing to me because there's quite a few albums I love from '92 and '94. Please give me some recs?

I'm trying to look up what album you think I'm referring to and I can't figure it out.
Doggystyle is the only one of those I haven't heard. I plan to check it out soon though.
Are late era Billy Joel and David Bowie actually good?

Okay thank you, this is more interesting to me...I should have probably rephrased there's plenty of albums I liked, but comparatively a lot less impressive than from the two years around it. But Icky Mettle, In on the Kill Taker, Rid of Me and Suede are all within my Top 15 for the year so far and though I find In Utero horribly bland, I've never heard any of the others so I'll look into them, thanks!
Yes.
You're living on it
>Boces
>The Stars Are So Big, the Earth Is So Small... Stay As You Are
>Transient Random-Noise Bursts With Announcements
>Today's Active Lifestyles
>The Serpentine Similar
OP did you even think before you asked this dumbfuck question
I don't like two of those that much (including one by a band that made one of my all-time favorite albums), one is highly overrated but okay and one is by a band where I heard one of their other albums and hated it
I can try Polvo though
...
Which is which
Pram
Mercury Rev
Stereolab
Gastr del Sol
My favorite post-rock album from that era would be D.I. Go Pop which I absolutely love and Yerself is Steam is one of my all-time favorite albums but overall from that era I'm very into great noise rock and since most pop music then was noisy, I get bored of the stuff that isn't creative with it
>dislikes Pram
>likes D.I. Go Pop
Garbage taste my dude
The vocals from Pram kill it.
Red House Painters - Rollercoaster
YLT - Painful
Th' Faith Healers - Imaginary Friend
Seefeel - Quique
Hoedh - Hymnvs
Black Moon - Enta da Stage
Wat's wrong with Hum of Life
Pic related.
Thanks guys, I think this has been a successful thread, not sure how much of this I will like but I'm happy to get recs for things I'd never heard of. I'm hopeful.
It was kind of a shitty year
I was born in it
This 9.25/10 dropped that year my man
