time to call it a day man

No, this isnt africa this time tho

Good question, it's bothered me quite a bit as someone who enjoys listening to music from all over the world

Obviously your picture isn't totally accurate as music from Central America and the Caribbean sounds nothing like the rest but overall, I get your point and am personally referencing South America

um racist

Have you never listened to the South American extreme metal scene? Pretty unique bands from there that blur the lines between death/thrash/black

>lack of culture

That's a motherfucking lie and you know it

99% of "Latin" music is absolute trash, and the only decent Latin-American albums are carbon-copies of Anglo-Saxon music. The only good thing to come out of Latin-America is Bossa nova.
>t. Argentinean

But even inside each country there are many genres and traditions radically different from each other.

Let's take Colombia as an example. Andean music is slower, and focused on harmony. Cribean coast music is faster and focused on rythm. The music of the western flatlands is fast and focused on melody.

There is more to this single country and it is probably not the most diverse one.

just shut the fuck up lol

>the only decent Latin-American albums are carbon-copies of Anglo-Saxon music.
These tend to be the worst ones. Except maybe the ones made in the 60s.

Bossa Nova is kinda crap.

wow this, like, totally makes your opinion valid now

you're just deaf user, I'm sorry for you.

Well, if you don't listen to a particular genre much at all your brain focuses more on the commonalities you can recognize rather than the distinguishing features of each song that would stand out more to someone who actually is familiar with that genre.

But this isn't even a genre, it's a geographic area. Maybe their pop music sounds the same but obviously any two songs from this area can be of different genres and thus sound totally different. Nice b8, I replied.
