Thanks for the rec (punk rock opera). I dig the kind of radio chatter or what ever that talking was on the the video.
I listened to Yamir, its got some pretty spooky sounds. favorite jam, "The People Wanted to Know Why/Rain Serenade"
Well done, keep making spooky sounds.

The 'deluxe' version of the newest album Any Gracious Heart is coming out in 2 days. I reconfigured the track listing to one I think works better as an album overall. It's not much on the surface - but the download also includes 20 bonus tracks. Which is a lot! Thanks for listening.
A+
YO
Hello friends
roberttheblack.bandcamp.com
this is an atmospheric black metal album just made for fun. its just a big blur of distortion mostly. Medieval themes
peace out
gnarly, almost sounds like white metal. I want to learn how to make some of those sounds.
heh I like the idea of "white metal"
the vast majority of the sounds are from a keyboard hooked up to a distortion, delay and chorus pedal in various combinations. A lot of the harshest noises are made from bashing the percussion presets on the keyboard with a ton of gain on the distortion pedal. Some of the noises are just samples with audacity distortion on them.
Well, with people like you posting their same album over and over for months on end, I don't really see a difference in the multiple threads posted every day.
more recs
This is weird, is it all sampled? The sources are very odd. Some of the tracks are more interesting than others.
Mall music has got to be softer than this, needs more band pass filters and less volume.
Not one for punk, your vocalist sounds great with the spoken word though. Please change your color scheme, that red on grey is awful.

hmmm, interesting. it's kind of noticeable, especially towards the end of the one song i heard.
listened to the opener on your album, damn that was really really soothing. the white noise building up against the soft melody was really intense, loved it. will check out more of it later, have some work to do right now.
rec
>radio chatter or what ever that talking was on the the video.
some old french informational video from the 50s about setting up oil drilling sites
>Well done, keep making spooky sounds.
haha yes i will
:^)
is the album cover a screenshot of some anime or something? because i feel like i've seen it somewhere before.
This is fine, extremely patience testing, and this choppy repetitive vaporwave isn't really new.

I have a personal dislike for this sheer amount of sub bass. These beats are just too crisp and melodic to be overwhelmed like that.
Compositions are fine, just work on your mixing. This sounds very flat and boring, nothing really stands our.

loving this. downloaded for listening on the road. even the quietest moments are so full of color.

Really enjoyed this stuff. Excellent work.
pretty cool shit my dude. how long have you been at it? i get the feeling you have bigger ideas than some of what i'm hearing.
Not too long, not even a full year yet. I do have some big plans in the future right now I am just practicing almost everyday. I share what I think is decent on Sup Forums. Even if a lot of it isn't perfect its good to get criticism and such to know how I am progressing.
I have a small experimental release coming out on an indie label but its not out yet so I'm keeping it on the downlow but its not on the ChronDroid name.
I also make instrumental hip-hop sometimes but I like to keep my projects separate and not linked together. I like the anonymity.
your stuff sounds good. keep up the practice and keep using feedback to your advantage. i don't know jack shit but i think you have potential. it is definitely decent and considering you've spent less than a year honing your craft i would say it's above average
Thank you. My biggest thing right now and why I'm dissatisfied with alot of things is I'm trying to find my own unique sound blending together different genres I like. Thats the biggest goal for me right now.
i know the feeling. i still don't think i've found my style after 5+ years of releasing material.
this is stupid good; I love it. Very much in the wave of early Talking Heads and Rosa Yemen. Very very good.
Yo I like this new track of yours.
Sounds like some early unreleased Real Estate. Jamming. First Apartment was my favorite of the bunch.
nice music and nice trips, friend
Waiting on those tapes! Brainchild is one of my fav songs I've found through these threads.
Sounds a lot like something C Duncan would have made but with mathy drumming.
I like the fucked-up sampling on this. More please?
Super interesting stuff. Please keep making more!
I love the music but I think it'd benefit from better recording conditions as well as more developed songs. Then again I don't know too much so I don't want to be some sort of backseat driver.
Not quite in my wheelhouse but I love the guitars and their tone. Keep it up!
Really good stuff. Sounds very California-ey... Let me know if you need a M&D deal with a proper label.
very calming and introspective. I like it a lot.
>chill
yea it really is. nice clean and straightforward, there is something almost eerie about the production that stands out to me that i can't explain.
Haven't done this in awhile

Is Photograph a cover? The melody sounds super familiar to me. I love the vibe, goes from hazy neo-psych pop to gritty post-punk in the same song. Buying the album, some of the best I've heard on bandcamp threads.
opening track a bit too subdued for my tastes, but good vibes throughout.
Kurt Vile, but with balls
yes
Photograph is in this weird place between braggadocio Good Morning Captain pastiche / claim at local throne and "hey listen we finalized instrumentation for this in a basement three weeks before Bowie dropped Blackstar as a single and as far as we're concerned the fucker took it from us"
thanks man
desu there's a lot of oc on this board for people to sift through. i have no reputation or real audience so i might as well focus on promoting my stuff that moves along quickly and is more clear and to the point.
M&D ?
