That actually looks very nice

Eh?

Phoenix

All North American and Australian (including Auckland) cities are garbage

I didn't realize America was this desperate for (you)s.

Here, take it. You've earned it.

>huge autism grid

Why do they even need city planners for that

It must be too complex for your primitive Eurocentric mind.

is this what an environment-friendly Manhattan would look like?

Nuke that place now

delet this

>canadians on reddit

Takes one to know one

Phoenix is actually one of the cleanest american cities. Go on google maps to see for yourself

Downtown Phoenix is actually pretty nice

The Southwest was a mistake.

Chicago has God-tier urban planning tbqh. Too bad it has so many social issues.

>posts the university in desperate attempt to retaliate

Pretty much, Edmonton used to be the greenest city in canada throughout the 20th century because of the amount of trees there are per square kilometre.

We always make fun of calgary for not having a single tree in their city limits at all whatsoever.

But if there are no trees, there's nothing to block your view, providing for a great landscape.

Toronto here. It's worse than I'd imagined.

>Having a bureaucrat tell you what to do with your land.

Yeah, I'd rather have ugly cities than some fag tell me what to do.

Depends on how you look at it i guess

Personally, i love going down the street and having the trees all around.
Some like landscapes, some like close-to-home nature. I dunno

>Toronto

Frig off, bud. You and your city single-handedly destroyed Ontario.

Your opinion is irrelevant.

The leaf does it again

Why all looks so gray and artificial like a copy

TBQH our cities are not much better, plus
Some of our mid size cities/towns look soviet tier in the winter

oh fuck off Ontario sucks a fat dick outside of toronto

>North American """"""cities""""""

*deep breath*
*WHEEZING LAUGHTER*

why are American rural cities post-apocalyptic?

This, the rest of the province is Manitoba-tier.

Downtown Phoenix is a shithole. Anyone that wants to have fun goes to Tempe or Scottsdale

I like Winnepeg.

...

Why?

t. vice pro

Looks like something from SimCity

STOP BULLYING PHOENIX
IT'S THE 6TH MOST POPULOUS CITY IN THE COUNTRY
YOU'RE ALL JUST JEALOUS

M8 it's autocentric sprawl shithole, and it doesn't even have a old walkable core like some of our cities. The whole thing is shit sprawl.

I thought your mom was the 6th most populated in the USA?

Glendale a shit

>named after a bird in Harry Potter

Are you not impressed by the poor urban planning and abundance of parking lots?

It is kind of sad, to be honest.

The farther you move from the East Coast inland, the worst the problem gets. All of our cities were planned around the convenience of suburban commuters and vehicle transit rather than people. For that reason, a lot of Midwestern and mountain cities may as well be interchangeable. Once you've seen one, you've seen them all.

That's what I really like about a lot of other countries - people actually fucking go outside and walk and bicycle and talk to one another. In the States, we're just a bunch of autists who go everywhere in our cars and have our earbuds in when we're outside.
