Blows my mind when Ziggy isn't one of them
I prefer Aladdin Sane to Ziggy desu senpai
AS just feels a lot more polished and glammy throughout, while ZS has some serious peaks but it drops at tracks like Star, Hang On To Yourself & It Ain't Easy

Bowie's most underrated album remains his most underrated, it seems
His literal worst album. Here's your (you)
>his literal worst.
*ahem*
Hours is worse. Never Let Me Down is one of his best 80s ballads.

Among his greatest songs, and yet you meme that it's his worst when albums like Pin Ups & Tonight exist.
Hunky Dory
Ziggy
Station to Station
Aladdin Sane
Low
Ik its generic sorry
>Pin Ups
WE DON'T SPEAK OF THAT ALBUM!
Mein neger, although I cant really choose between Blackstar and Hunky Dory.
Heroes
Blackstar

Aladdin Sane

Pinups is really nice and tonight is ok
I feel like a serious idiot because I didn't start listening to him until he died
I thought he was just a generic 70s/80s pop star
WE DON'T TALK ABOUT THAT ABOMINATION.
IT RUINED THE 12 ALBUM STREAK!
Ziggy
S2S
Hunky Dory
Diamond Dogs
Aladdin Sane
Station to Station and Scary Monsters are his only 10/10 albums
>Pinups is really nice
I don't think even David would agree with that
Pin Ups doesn't count- cover albums are not studio albums.
And yeah I prefer Tonight if only for Loving the Alien. As an album it's not bad whatsoever if you skip all the covers.
>Station to Station, Blackstar and Earthling are his only 10/10 albums

>These songs are among my favourites from the '64–67' period of London. / Most of the groups were playing the Ricky-Tick (was it a 'y' or an 'i'?) -Scene club circuit (Marquee, eel pie island la-la). / Some are still with us. / Pretty Things, Them, Yardbirds, Syd's Pink Floyd, Mojos, Who, Easybeats, Merseys, The Kinks. / Love-on ya!
If you need to skip half of an album to enjoy it, it's not a good album
Better off just enjoying the LtA single instead
I enjoy more of it than hours is my point.

>same exact shit as everyone else, sans Earthling
>"""""patrician"""""
You won't be a true patrician until you can appreciate even his 80s work and tin machine
This. Once you realize "Loving The Alien" is a fucking master work of songwriting and "When The Wind Blows" is easily one of the best songs about death, you'll be patrician.

i started when he died too user
i first heard about him reading Metal Gear Solid 3 trivia.
Eh I first heard him when I was 6, I was obsessed with anything space related and heard "Space Oddity." Blew my mind. Long story short in my early teens I discovered Ziggy Stardust, loved it. by 13 I Bought David Live... Odd I know, but it made me a fan for life. Hell even got my Dad into Bowie, he stole my CD of Black Star but I'm proud of the old man.
