First wave of Wu Tang solo albums are also some of my favourites

My personal favorite from Jay (If not my favorite of all time)

...

madvillainy obv

Shit taste

...

Lupe's such a preachy cunt.

To be honest after listening to all of his albums i like this the most since its somewhat unique. But his newer songs like pick up the phone or made in america are shit

This is a fkin masterpiece

I fucking love Prisoners 1 & 2, Chopper, Adoration of Magi

I love all of it,at first I only liked summer but now addicted to winter, autumn

Yeah those are also fucking awesome

no, youre fucking awesome :)

Anyone know any shit like Vince Staples? Love his work.

Not sure whether Atrocity Exhibition topped this, they're both really close IMO

...

This album is really underrated in comparison to Atrocity Exhibition. It's like twice as long and it has no bad songs. Amazing album desu.

...

everyday

these are good

How is it underrated? It's widely seen as his best material.

one of few rap albums to have literally zero skippable tracks

Still is after all this time

i find The Blueprint overrated as shit

...

Same for me with this record
RIP M.L.

One of my all time favorites

To Pimp A Butterfly - Kenderick Lamar

>>inb4 yeezy fag
if your favorite Kanye album is Graduation for anything other than nostalgia then you arent a real yeezy fan

Kanye West2013

wtf r u trying to say

Pink polo kanye died after MDBTF since his ego took over. Maybe im just retarded idk

my dudes

oh and this fella of course

Just listened to this for the first time. Pretty disappointed, it's just some guys having fun in a booth together. Which, great, but their reputation suggests something grander.

That's my thoughts upon first listen at least.

Same here. There was better stuff around even in their time.

Aes Rock is so consistent that it's hard for me to pick a favorite album. But it's None Shall Pass by a hair. Not a single skippable track on it.

Yeah I think I thought the same as you the first time I heard it, and I think its difficult to appreciate if you're not REALLY into the sheer ingenuity of the rapping and don't mind the griminess of the beats. Definitely don't expect some grand statement about the human condition but yeah.

...

Loving pic related. Where do I go next?

Where have you been? Are you asking for rappers like Aesop Rock or other albums by Aesop Rock?

Either way check out Hail Mary Mallon, it's a trio with him and other guys that he collabs with a bunch. "Breakdance Beach" is my fav track on their first album Are You Gonna Eat That?

Love this artist. Pretty underrated imo

I like the beats but all of his songs are all about how much it sucks to be working class. It's exhausting and repetitive.

Was asking for Aesop's discog but sure I'll check that out!

...

If you don't get this you're a pleb.

Dying on Graduation, nail in the casket with 808s

Lucy Ford ain't.

If you're starting with Impossible Kid I'd work backwards. He started off relatively light on the production side and gets more experimental each album. So go Skelethon (my favs are Grace and Dokken Rules), then None Shall Pass, Bazooka Tooth, Labor Days, Float, Music for Earthworms.

>he doesn't like 808s

what do you guys think of prima donna i personally liked it. short and sweet

How do you come to that conclusion? I said Pink polo old Kanye died with that album. I like that album.

I thought you meant dying = going to shit direction.

isn't this a hip-hop thread? You're posting breakbeat/big beat to a hip-hop thread?

Hey leave him alone man he wasnt hurtin no one

I came to post this dude. Thanks.

Nah man, love that new direction.

...

Kendrick Lamar. TPAB
Nas. Illmatic
Wu-Tang. Enter the 36 Chambers
Death Grips. Exmilitary
Madvillain. Madvillainy

t. Kendrick

...

If you're still around, I like 36 Chambers, but I do prefer Tical and Liquid Swords, so maybe try checking out some of their solo shit, Only Build 4 Cuban Linx, and Return to the 36 Chambers in addition to the other two I mentioned are all really good
Love that album, probably my second favourite after Skelethon

I hate his voice so much, it gives me ass cancer

Do you have an instrumental version? I hate hearing tweniwun every 5 seconds

This your first day on Sup Forums?

Top 5 at the moment:

Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star
Wu Tang: 36 Chambers
Nas: It Was Written
Kanye: Late Registration
Kendrick: TPAB

Only trash record listed so far

not quite RTJ 2 but still pretty amazzing

post 2016 shit

Lil yachty-Lil boat
Nujabes-Modal Soul
Young thug-Barter 6
Mobb Deep- The infamous

the grimy beats is one of the best parts of early rza

I feel like hip hop is one of the few genres left where people call music great because it's really good, instead of grand

>Pick up the phone baby
>I know you're home baby

holy shit this is GOAT
so much better than the latest danny brown ou pouya

This is one of my favs too

GOAT intro.

>a four eleven Cuban helped us weather the storm

Yeah RZAs beats are amazing.
Check out Skelethon if you ain't heard it, Aes does the production on both of them.

Metro Boomin is a god for making Ocean Drive

all y'all niggas stupid for not posting this earlier
