It's so hard for me to listen to the poor man's Tim, but I'm curious is he better live then he was on Grace?
>poor man's tim
Tim Buckley/Jeff Buckley comparisons are pathetically pleb considering they sound nothing alike. I think Tim is the better artist overall but that doesn't really diminish what Jeff achieved musically considering he wasn't trying to imitate his father.
I just want to point out that it's QUITE hard to imitate someone like Tim Buckley.

There are many that do and fail miserably at it though. Also to answer your question his performances on this album are a lot more raw and intimate. It's just him and a guitar playing for a small crowd of people but I find that his versatility as a musician really shines in a live setting.
His version of Dink's Song from this is probably my favorite live performance ever
all-time fav desu. even the 11+ minute solo jams never get boring
I'm loving the new Kate Bush live album.

Hackett still with them, Collins sings Gabriel, Banks is on fire, Chester Thompson/Phil Collins drum duets, and Mike Rutherford on twin necked guitar.
Priceless.

>Is he better live then he was on Grace
Absolutely. I'm not all that crazy about Jeff's original songs, they're good, not great. I'm more of a fan of him as a performer. I'll listen to him sing anything.
>You will never see Jeff Buckley play an open mic
Genuinely the best live show. EVER. In my opinion of course
The song Grace is legitimately a great song that was an original from Jeff and Gary Lucas. But yeah, for the most part his strength was as an amazing live performer.
holy shit why is it so hard to find a good verison of this cover on google
