Where do you live? Does it snow in the winter? Do you drive purely for enjoyment?

evo 9 or evo 10 if you're looking to buy a sporty one?

You're right, maybe a twingo would be more your speed

If you have to deal with snow much, I will always suggest a Subaru of some sort. But for 20 grand you could pick up a Ford fiesta st. It isn't "fast" but it'll throw your head in the seat and is literally the most fun I've had in a car in the ~30 years I've been driving.

>supra (goodluck)
why?

98 tt supra
thank me later

South Carolina? Get a truck for 10, lift it 20" an throw sum mudders on it. Paint a confederate flag, fit in with your redneck brethren. Your welcome

We have no snow man, it's the south

"drift tax", they don't go for the price thanks to kids pretending to be the next paul walker

Sup Forums I have 50 bucks to spend on groceries to stay alive this month. can someone with a car like this come run me over plz.

"Select all images with cars" please god kill me and end this cruel joke called life. Walking from a 9-5 full time minimum wears at your soul. 4 years later, no change, no chance. Shoot me. Kill me. Please God let me die. Why did you let me live when my existence is obviously useless and only a burden?

>in the ~30 years I've been driving.
How old are you buddy?

Spoken like a true good ole boy Hahaha. I'm a yankee new to the South. I might have to do it.

You have clearly never driven a sports hybrid, you should try a golf GTE, it will top that fiesta ST

yea here the same
very overpriced car

I'm from colorado where it can be 80 degrees at noon and blizzarding by 5:00, so I tend to forget that there are places where it just doesn't snow, like at all.

Thanks I needed this

I turned 40 last month, so I guess I've been driving for about 28 years to be more exact.

I have not, but I'll check it out when I'm test driving to buy a new car.

shiet you an old man))

An A mercedes A class

Buy a Peugeot 205 GTI.

Yeah, it happens. It'll happen to you too, and way more quickly than you could ever anticipate.

>buy a cheap shitbox for ~5k
>save up a little while for the car you actually want
>profit

If you are buying a car straight up you are making a giant mistake and I said it this way nicely because you should seriously do some research. You need to finance or lease the car. Don't be dumb user.

I hope I will die young because life in Russia it's suffering

>Lease

You must be joking

You are fuckin pathetic. That's like saying my prius is faster than your Chevy volt. They are both shit. STI master race reporting in. 410whp fully built engine.

>Negative equity
> quicker deprecation
> recalls

A new Cherokee's transmission is so shoddy you'll probably end up pinned against a mailbox

Buy a Saab.

Thanks user. At least someone called this retard out.

nigga, you need a Vespa.

SUPERB reason, ignore the idiots who tell you to buy anything else.

Reliability and maintainability come first, not status among dumbfucks. You can't use performance on SC roads anyway (I live near Paxville) and an M3 would gut your bank account on maintenance.

Ignore everyone who isn't a highly experienced mechanic when it comes to car choices. If they aren't a mechanic, they are ignorant and should not give purchase advice to others. Performance statistics don't mean shit next the the world of commercial wrenching.

Don't ask Anons for technical advice. Pay a friend to kick you in the taint for even posting this thread.

Ask your father to help you find a car since anyone around that long knows the market and how not to overpay.

I'm from South Carolina, Columbia area.

Drive a Nissan. Any Nissan. I have a Nissan 350z (over $20,000, I know) and it's incredibly fun zigzagging around all the giant pickups.

Used car dealers laugh at Chrysler products. We kept them in stock because niggers like Chrysler cars and dumbass crackas think all Jeeps are old CJs under the skin.

Salvage yards abound in nice clean Cherokees with destroyed transmissions.

Get out im in Columbia as well!

Well then believe me when I say, get a Nissan and drive to Harbison, except take the St. Andrews exit towards Irmo HS and have a blast. Medium traffic, enough to have fun, but not enough to get yourself killed.

Once you hit Irmo's stadium, you're in harbison.

Nissans are great. Even SC niggers had trouble killing them and we couldn't keep them on the lot because they sold like boiled peanuts, RC and moon pies.

I work for chrysler. Not good products.

Put Waze on your phone to monitor cops in advance. Plenty of Waze users in Columbia post all the details ya need.

Waze was handy as fuck after Joaquin. I could see all road closures in advance.

Get a truck faggot. Can get much more shit done with a truck. Plus if you get it lifted high enough you can look down on all the girls tits in their cars!
>source: me, redneck

Only Nissan drawback is his pop's a master Yota tech. That makes Yota the smart play if OP wants to save money for shit like having a life. Nissans are tough though.

Small world after all. I know all of those roads. Thanks for the tip, that's pretty badass

Trucks in SC are overpriced for anything decent, and useless unless you actually haul shit or pull trailers as I do.

You're speaking truth user. Guy at work tells me the same thing that you're telling me right now. It makes all the sense to get a Toyota / Lexus. Only problem is I don't really like any of the except a few models. But if it's gonna save me thousands in the long run then it's worth it

Get a used FRS/BRZ (you can find them in good condition for that money.)

>ASE master tech reporting
I can recommend at least one vehicle from every car company, but I will NEVER recommend a Chrysler product to anyone.

Chrysler: a true testemate to our ability to sell junk to each other.

Get a 1988 chevrolet monte carlo ss, then spend the rest of the money on customization.

this

What about them Ecodiesels brah? Best engine out there

How old are you user? If you're younger and don't have a lot of money for maintenance, get something Japanese: essentially any Toyota, Honda, Nissan, or Lexus if you want some luxury. If you're older/have more money and are willing to pony up some cash for maintenance, a Mercedes E or C class or a BMW 3 series are good options as well.

a list of I'm a gay boi that wants to go fast cars. Kek

You'll get over any minor objections when you drive them over time.

Most people don't spend hours looking AT their vehicles, but do spend thousands of hours IN them.

The cash you save can be used for fun, and there's nothing that sucks quite like your main ride breaking down.

Have Pops school you on mechanics and get a shop manual for any car you buy. Most people don't do this but it is a great learning tool.

Once yer Dad is gone you will have to pay mechanics or be one. It's not hard to learn if you start early, and will give you technical, mechanical and electrical insight you'd not get any other way.

I'm actully a diesel tech to be specific, so it makes my dick hard with everything running on diesel. I mean, why would you not want a 4 cylinder with 300 ft. lbs. of torque AND 60 mpg?

1980 ford pinto wagon

Only a diesel tech can comfortably afford repairs because you have access to all the gear, not to mention permanent employment because there aren't many diesel techs. Good for you!

Me lubs diesels but I'm not gonna buy what I'd need to keep one as long as I keep gassers.

Why do i have such a stiction problem with my 6.0 liter?

The car that's got the boom in it!

but those are girl cars fam. let me guess, your 2nd choice is a 350z?

Haha then whats a guys car?

Ayyy my nigga #miatagang

2013 Scion FRS?

2008 Lexus IS F. Million times faster than what you posted OP.

Fuck the car, take the bus, and buy $20K worth of hookers and blow.

You'll thank me later.

Damn didn't even know about that model

Thanks user

Buy yourself some class. That's what I would spend the money on at least.

the IS F is legit

It's all about the maintanince. My main meal ticket is The Ford 6.0 powerstroke, and I've observed that some guys have to buy a set of injectors every 60k miles or so, and others are running on originals at over 300k miles. Fuel additive and regular oil changes make a tremendous difference in the cost of diesels (not to mention the huge jumps in diesel technology in the last 5 or so years).

Also, ecodiesels are affordable whereas diesel pickups are a piss poor investment unless the pickup makes you money.

or get yourself some muscle

I love powerstrokes, they are so fucking easy to diagnose and work on!

trips decided OP

Giant gas hog. Fun, but a pig to feed.

Get a Lexus Predator

I had a Twingo. Lots of fun.

Haha my dad (yota master tech) used to have a 69

you have any pics?

A slightly used Toyota Corolla.
Save the rest for gas.

My family has been using Corollas literally since the 70's. They're fantastic cars, along with the Honda Civic.

I might actually, gonna go look.

Shit was taken with an old school Kodak camera.

So yours is a lot better? Let's see it!

Depending on where you live really effects the decision. If you have shitty winters then an AWD/FWD vehicle is the way youre going to have to go unless you plan on storing the car or drifting everywhere. If this is your daily then reliability has a factor into it too

I have a 04 jeep grand cherokee limited. No problems in 3 years. Dad helped cherry pick the year because other years Jeeps can be complete shit.

>r32 skyline
>r33 skyline
>supra (goodluck)
nigga you'd have better luck buying a supra than importing a skyline
