This is extremely disturbing

thank you for posting this

Take that Earth spherists and flatters!

...

We look like a nerd you know the piece of candy

...

Haha wtf xDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Deepest ocean = 7 miles or so. That would translate into 1000's of miles of depth in some spots

Is this to scale?

im sitting here thinking there is no fucking way. earths crust is only a sliver.

No. Red means stronger gravitational pull, blue is weaker.

This gif has nothing to do with water
> :))))))))))))))))))))))

No, it would look as spherical from space as it does now. The main difference is that Earth would start looking like Mars, all land and eventually no life, so just a brown/gray desert planet.

Mars would have continents too if it had water. But you can't tell just by looking at it where the landmasses would be, not easily anyway. Earth's continents would be as difficult to tell from the rest of the ground from space if there was no water. But obviously there are major elevation differences.

EARTH IS FLAT WATER ISNT REAL

The real earth without water.

...

...

what the fuck are you on about you twat

I've never thought of what the earth without water would look like before before. Neato I guess

The deepest parts of the ocean is seven miles deep. He's saying that if OP's picture was accurate, the deepest parts of the ocean would have to be like 1000's of miles to make the Earth look like that when all the water is gone.

Though I wouldn't say that's quite accurate, his point is true. The water doesn't go deep enough for Earth to look like that when it's gone.

looks like your moms ass

exactly this. the depth of those oceans would be tens of thousands of miles per OP's scale.

THIS is the 'earth without water'.

fucking idiots.

It would look sort of like Mars. Bigger, not as red. With all the water gone, plant life would die and it would essentially be a desert planet like Mars as well.

It would be difficult to tell continents apart from the rest of the ground because, well, there wouldn't be any continents anymore. They will be regions of higher elevation, but it wouldn't be obvious from space. Just like you can't tell where Mars' continents would be if it had an ocean just by looking at it.

are you a retard, friend?

Yep, it is the most accurate pic in this thread. OP's pic is just bait, pretty much.

Actually, from space, you wouldn't even notice the change of shape, only color.

as you can notice Europe master civilization is on top of all
proof god is with us and not with sandniggers or murrifats

. . . are you retarded

And now, Mars with oceans

bruh

Sup Forums, a place where ignorance reigns supreme.

that could be said about most of this planet, friend.

pretty sure this is a representation of gravitational variation at the earth's surface, distortion mapped onto the globe, and not "Earth without water"

in fact, it it.

see:

This pic is bullshit. research pls

"What it actually depicts is the Earth’s geoid: a way of describing Earth’s gravitational field. The original graphic is a product of the MATLAB package described by Ales Bezdek"

Google this shit you dumb fuckers. Only a fool would take anything posted here as fact.

its flat idiot

ITT: stupid faggots don't know the earth is flat
smh, read a book

>read a book
wait a minute.. books are flat.

shit

you're right.

got em
