you look through it
and things look bigger

...

They don't work. They just sit there

two- three lenses and a mirror l
but it depends if it's reflection or refraction

Refraction ya dumb nogger

I don't know.

magnets

thids

you point it at a thing far away and look through it

/thread

How does knowing how some random item works make you smart? Are you smart OP?

but there's also satellites and satellite dishes for radio, X-ray telescopes etc,

There are two types. Refracting and reflecting. You collect light in the tube and frac or flec it, bounce it off mirror look through lens of your size. Light enters eyeball, brain processes it

But how do magnets work?

come visit b science general.

at least everybody learned it at school one day.

miracles.

Magic

Light goes through a tube of really really small artists that has like 1296/20 vision, i might be wrong about the eyesight though, then they darw what they see nad projecting it to the smaller end of the tube.

Sciencefags can you confirm the eyesight part?
Dont wanna give false info out there.

my take: a lens gathers incoming light from a distant object and projects it to a focal point/plane. this image of the object can be viewed through a second lens (like with magnifying glass)

Ahem

>MAGNET, n. Something acted upon by magnetism.
>MAGNETISM, n. Something acting upon a magnet.
>The two definitions immediately foregoing are condensed from the works of one thousand eminent scientists, who have illuminated the subject with a great white light, to the inexpressible advancement of human knowledge.

Curved glass with some thickness to it (like a hollow sphere cut in half)

The curved glass allows for the sides to have a small side and a big side (different surface area). The smaller side of the curve captures a small picture, this is projected to the bigger side of the curve, giving a bigger picture. Stack curved glass pieces on top of each other and you can magnify stuff.

it comes from the earth and contains concentrated amounts of gravity

The key difference being "how" do magnets work and "why" do magnets work.

Everyone should know how they work, no one knows why they work.

Hyper quantum flux field

Magic shit

it zooms the shit out of the sky dude

it makes stuff thats really far look like its not as far away as it actually is

Hooold on let me google that crap
