Jarkko Martikainen - Rakkaus (2006)
Genre: Acoustic/singer-songwriter
One of my Favourite albums in Finnish. It's a pretty much lyrics-based so I'm not sure if foreigners would like it as much as I do. But if you enjoy foreign acoustic music, by all means give it a listen.

Also I just found out that they've changed the album cover of Ujubasajuba on their bandcamp.

Wow thanks for that, can't wait to check out those albums that I can't read the name of! What a helpful, informative chart!

Maybe I'm a pleb but I've been listening to these guys a bit recently. I don't even usually like pop.

I'm not into pop punk but I like them. People tend to give flak for the vocalist but I think that she fits the band perfectly.
Essential /hearfromradio/-core.
>People tend to give flak for the vocalist
Really? She's like the selling point for me, I love her voice. I guess it's not exactly conventional but she's not fucking CocoRosie.
Though I guess it might seem different to someone who actually speaks Finnish and is used to how it sounds. It all sounds a little weird to me (in a good way).
>Kalle Kalima & K-18
Noice. Have you heard Raoul Björkenheim/William Parker/Hamid Drake? DMG @ The Stone Vol 2: December 26 2006 is pretty good.
