This is a tricky question because some of the most defining bands of the 90's either came so early or so late in the decade they get more grouped in with other eras.

There's a lot of shit from 1991 that you'd just assume was outta the 80's.

That said, I've crunched the numbers and the most 90's band was Limp Bizkit, whether we like it or not.

Pixies defining material is 80s.

Pearl Jam
Gin Blossoms
Smashing Pumpkins
Primus
Pavement
Jane's Addiction
Soul Asylum
Goo Goo Dolls

>(((80s)))

Smashing Pumpkins
Their sound took elements from almost every 90s rock style: grunge, psych rock, shoegaze, dream pop, alt rock, electronic rock, pop rock
Also their quality lasted throughout the decade: from Gish to Adore

Probably this. They also had pretty much the most constant presence of any rock band in the 90s outside of maybe Pearl Jam or RHCP.

I live in Sweden and can tell you based on that image that you don't know shit about our current events or state at the moment

Careful. He might call you a cuck and then what are you going to do?

what did you mean by this post

>Sven gets upset
cuck

>Jane's Addiction
they only released one record in the 90s.

their s/t album was 87 and Nothing's Shocking was 88

the most 90s band is a tossup between Barenaked Ladies and Hootie and the Blowfish, unfortunately.

>ctrl+F Nirvana

wew

all bands that released music from 90-99.

The Pixies helped shape the sound of the 90s. It's called being ahead of your time. Therefore, even their late 80s material still sounds more 90s.

>80s material sounds 90s

wut

...

The other day I listened to Primus. Sailing The Seas of Cheese. Hadn't listened to it in years. It was as if the 90's came alive during my afternoon commute

90's Green Day

the most 90s band is unwound

post-hardcore, noise rock, slowcore, post-rock, indie rock and shoegaze in one package

also if the 90s "really" ended on 9/11, leaves turn inside you is a perfect epilogue for the decade, sonically
