I've been avoiding this movie my whole life, mostly because its black and white and I find it boring as shit.
Just watched it and holy shit..this was fucking brutal. I cant believe the germans were at some point in quite recent history such literal monsters.. I've only cried one time before in my life to a movie when I was a kid, but I wept like a little bitch during this..
Fucking germans man, history should teach these things better, in fact they should show this movie when talking about WW2. You get taught stuff and on paper you cant fathom the cruelty and pure evil of the nazis, no matter how many numbers and facts they throw at you, but you watch something like this..and you're changed for life.
