Universally that person's acumen is esteemed very little perceptive concerning whatsoever matters are being held as most profitable by mortals with sapience endowed to be studied who is ignorant of that which the most in doctrine erudite and certainly by reason of that in them high mind's ornament deserving of veneration constantly maintain when by general consent they affirm that other circumstances being equal by no exterior splendour is the prosperity of a nation more efficaciously asserted than by the measure of how far forward may have progressed the tribute of its solicitude for that proliferent continuance which of evils the original if it be absent when fortunately present constitutes the certain sign of omnipollent nature's incorrupted benefaction.

Maybe, I couldn't understand your long sentence quite well even if it's written by my mother language.
I was busy with work before, so I only posted infrequently.
I'll do my best to post shobons as often as I can, user.

I gave up reading as soon as I started reading that one. Do you think it's difficult for even natives English speakers?
Chase Long
Wow, that's really experimental. Is this guy famous?
I see.
Ryder Baker
This isn't proper English, It's written as if the author is speaking with a heavy Scottish accent. If you pronounce it out loud as you read, it's easier. For example:
>verissoon after, becomes >very soon after,
Isaiah Smith
>Written in Paris over a period of seventeen years, and published in 1939, two years before the author's death, Finnegans Wake was Joyce's final work. The entire book is written in a largely idiosyncratic language, consisting of a mixture of standard English lexical items and neologistic multilingual puns and portmanteau words, which many critics believe were attempts to recreate the experience of sleep and dreams.

Henry Kelly
oops, the first one should be "venissoon after"
but yes, this would be difficult for many native English speakers to understand.

I have visited Abashiri prison in Japan where prisoners used to be treated as slaves and were forced to build roads in Hokkaido early of 20th century. The Abashiti prison still exists now, but it was moved to its neighbor some decades ago, and a museum I visited is at the original place.

>tfw I'm starting a jap course in university after all these years of animu and learning kanas and whatever >tfw teacher says I should start at the second course because I have prior knowledge and know kana Pretty excited, but I'm worried I might mix shit up with Chinese because I'm learning that in parallel. Still, having a challenge is always nice. And credits are credits.
in leafland kanji is hardly taught at all. After two semesters I was only required to know maybe 30 kanji. That's probably because the teacher assumed we knew them all what with 90% of my class being chinese.
Carson Sanchez
what japaneses do when they feel sad
Brandon Stewart
I'm not melonpan :^) though I like his videos eh, the kanji are not a concern for me. I can differentiate kanji easily. I'm more concerned about the words, and mixing up the two languages. Like, when I see 日本, the 'voice' in my head automatically 'plays' Rìběn even though I know it's Nihon in Japanese.
Grayson Wright
>I might mix shit up with Chinese because I'm learning that in parallel I had that problem. Ended up dropping Chinese in favor of Japanese. But some people can manage both.
Easton Roberts
Damn, thanks for the info.
