Is your MENA country obsessed with this beverage?

good morning:)

It's just popular in Syria and Lebanon I think.

صباح الخير
And who is he? He doesn't look like the roleplayer from /sg/...or were there two of them?
Wikipedia said "In some parts of Syria, Lebanon and other middle eastern nations, drinking mate is common"
That's why I asked. Have you ever drank it?

It's Onur, he's Turkish. I sadly don't know much about him

I haven't, but yeah they sell it in Kabatilo, but what I meant it's not a cultural practise in Jordan nearly as much as it is Syrian/Lebanese. Most people in Jordan haven't tried it probably but it's available in the shops.

Aaaaaaaa ;-----;

Is doogh (carbonated yogurt drink) popular in any Arab countries?

I hate arabs

Also, my Egyptian friend uses numbers in the middle of letters when texting Arabic. For example, he will say "a7a". What does that mean, and why do western Arabs mix numbers with letters when texting Arabic?

Like شنينة?

a7a = aha

Because lots of Arabic letters are non-existent in English language, so they use numbers that look like the letters (also the numbers may represent different letters from one region to another)
It's called "3arabizi", basically a chat language that is Arabic written in latin letters and numbers

Looks like it, and google says it's a yogurt drink. I'm not sure if it's carbonated like doogh though
Then why not just write it out using English letters? Why mix English letters with numbers? Why the numbers? What's the purpose of it?

No, not really, I think Egyptians use it when they're angry or surprised or something Idk, I think it's considered rude

Do the sounds those letters make not appear in the English language? Farsi and Arabic use the same script and I have never been taught this

Get the fuck out then. This is an Arabic country.

Confused boner here desu
Why? Have you ever met one? I know you're here because I linked this thread on /tr/.
There are not many differences between arabs and turks in both intelligence and looks.
Ayyy thanks I always wanted to know why

Started playing metal gear rising, really nice combat and story

Yeah they don't appear, well Farsi is an indo-european language and Arabic is semitic, a lot of Arabic is spoken with the depth of your throat and obv. that doesn't exist in English, I guess these letters aren't pronounced the same by Iranians as Arabs? Idk

Listen to the codec conversations after boss battles they're pretty interesting, especially after the Monsoon boss battle
Also play the Jetstream DLC but not the Bladewolf DLC, it's pretty shit
Also parrying is literally the most important part of the combat system, git gud at it early

>Have you ever met one

Are you serious when asking this question? Do you realize how many Iraqis and Syrians living in this country?

Them sexy combat though, love games like this. Reminds me of godhand

But iraqis are mesopotamians and syrians are greek. Not Arabs. Yes I was serious.

Ahh I see thanks. About 1/4th of the words in the Farsi language are the same as they are in Arabic but the way we speak (our accents/dialect/how we pronounce words) are sort of different. That might explain why I haven't come across this number conversion thing

tfw it had most memorable boss battles in all the games i've played

>Why? Have you ever met one?
Yes, there are 3 millions of syrians in my country and i can assure you we have a lot of differences in intelligence, race and looks

Tell me about your experience

Right...I'm pretty sure if you were in iraq or syria people think you're a masterrace mesopotamian/greek too. Iq in turkey is 90 and in iraq 87 according to iq-research.info. Almost the same desu.

t. Algerian

We have ayran in Lebanon it's not carbonated though. Good with breakfast but its definitely an acquired taste; many of my non- Arab friends don't like it.

This almost euro10 million euro=15million dollar would not be better to send food to Gaza,,,or at least to feed the Algerians who are standing by the corners of la Rue Saint-Denis,in Paris

Ma3lash hahahah

Or at least to make the infrastructure better.
Fuck our gov.
still we won the matches :^)

Oh I see. I wasn't aware that you had ayran. We have it in Iran too. Homemade doogh usually isn't carbonated and is probably the same thing, but if you order it at an Iranian restaurant they'll usually have it carbonated.

What's it like carbonated? Have you tried mint ayran and would you recommend it? I usually drink a chilled plain ayran with my manoushe (spelling?).

>Ma : 6 gold medals

Not a lot at first glance, until you realize you have 10 million people more than us lmao

~~~ONE TWO THREE VIVA L'ALGERIE.~~~
I remember that second match like yesterday subhanallah. I was like
Allah Akbarrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!!!!!!!!
Allah Akbarrrrrrrr !!!!!!!!!!!!
Allah Akbarrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!
i almost lost my voice at secong goal looool
i live by the Staduim,i felt the whole building shaking from the takbir:)))))))))))))
But then I realized this is waswaas from the devil :( So I started to cheer for lgeria too
I cheer for them b/c theyre arabs and muslims. It doesn't feel right for me to cheer for England or Slovenia when my arab muslim brothers and sisters are playing. My dad and my brother met an Algerian guy at the masjid and they got along well and became friends. Not all Algerians are the same and im not gonna blame all of them b/c of some stupid crazy idiots. That's not fair. That's like saying all arab muslims are terrorists, which isn't true at all. Also, since they are arabs they are probably looked down upon. They never ever achieved anything either. Why not give this to our poor muslim brothers??
Stop doing that
I'm enjoying it tbqh
I think it's a lot better carbonated but only if you have it carbonated once in a while, otherwise it can get real old real fast. But if you have it once in a while carbonated it feels like a completely different beverage. A lot of people have it with dinner at a restaurant but I think it's best with breakfast. Uncarbonated is good too, maybe even better if you drink it regularly because for me the taste of uncarbonated doesn't really get old.
Mint is good too but like carbonated the taste can get old if you have it too much.
I like it best with manoushe type bread with honey and butter.
