they sound like very well-made post-hardcore
youtube.com/watch?v=RqSo1q2SBvs
you should listen to them cuz theyre really great

I would like the music better if the lyrics weren't so self righteous and straightedge UGH no one cares jackass do you want a medal

hey wolvesy hows it been

what's your favorite record this year

>I would like the music better if the lyrics weren't so straightedge
That's the point

Hinds-Leave Me Alone lol

tfw this performance

youtube.com/watch?v=ooj1f0m2A_E

why is this song so bitching?

i sorta like fugazi, but minor threat is true bb

mfw i havent listened to a second of Minor Threat

a truly terrible tragedy dawg, with the most remarkable remedy. pop on Complete Discography and love it or leave it (:

that's only their early stuff (mostly)

Early Fugazi is great but post In On the Killtaker Fugazi is transcendent desu.

IOTKT is also the best punk album ever.

What's the best Fugazi track?

Reclamation

Anyone able to stick Fugazi on a mega? i goddamn love what i've heard of them

that's a hard choice, everyone has a different one

i can never pick one to be honest, so i'll cheat and say which ones i'm digging atm
that'd be: Promises and Repeater

Gotta go with Shut the Door.

use torrents dude

No one's seeding my family

dunno what tracker you use but try any of these out

try some out and see what gets a good DL rate

You're a fucking legend

listen to all their stuff chronologically my man

Fugazi makes me feel like I'm in a Props video in 2002 doing a backrail fufanu on a random mini in the midwest

Me too. Y-you wanna get a coffee. I mean if you want to. It's cool if you don't.

those are specific feels

i just feel nostalgic even though any of the band members could be my dad

>tfw you'll never experience this ever because you were born at the wrong time

As far as I know the only song Ian ever wrote about being straight-edge is Straight-Edge by Minor Threat when he was a teen, not when he was an adult in Fugazi.

Besides that mix up you had, I would argue that Ian's take on being straight-edge and how I and many others interpret it, it's not a matter of straight-edge being 'better' and people who use drugs and have one-night stands are 'bad.' The meaning is in the name, we merely think that we have an 'edge' on people who do those things because we hold ourselves accountable for every action and are aware in every moment.

>1999
>Fugazi gig
>They start playing the opening notes of Waiting Room
>As soon as the main riff hits, I start trying to slam dance with the guy next to me
>*record scratch*
>The band stops playing
>Ian Mackaye stares at me with horror in his eyes
>Girl next to me visibly pissed off
>"LOOK AT THIS FUCKING WHITE MALE INVADING MY PERSONAL SPACE!"
>Crowd starts booing
>"GET OUT OF HERE YOU WHITE MALE"
>I start making my way to the exit in shame
>Guy wearing a 'This Is Not A Fugazi Shirt', krishna beads and oversized cargo pants trips on the way out
>spaghetti falls out of pocket
>mfw

>Fugazi gig about to start
>Ian talks to the crowd about what local restaurant they ate at and what meals they ordered the night before

every time

>Fugazi gig
>everything's going alright
>all of a sudden band stops
>Guy Picciotto grabs the microphone away from Ian
>Points to a lone member in the crowd
>"ARE YOU WEARING A FUCKING FUGAZI SHIRT?!
>The crowdmember looks visibly stunned
>responds back "I made this at home, I'm just a really big fan of your band!"
>Guy's eyes bug out in disgust
>"GET THE ACTUAL FUCK OUT OF HERE YOU BOOTLEGGING SON OF A BITCH! I NEVER WANNA SEE YOU AT A FUGAZI GIG EVER AGAIN!"
>Doorman dumps an entire bottle of reconstituted kale juice over the crowdmembers head before booting him out into the street

CHANGE THAT NOW

holy shit

What a fucking asshole. Did this actually happen? Sauce your story.

*10/10 harmonic riff*
SHE'S NOT BREATHING
SHE'S NOT MOVING
SHE'S NOT COMING
BACK

SITTING IN THE WAITING ROOM

>tfw you'll never hear that unreleased jay-z song that samples fugazi

It's like the only licensing Ian ever approved. I think they let This American Life use Waiting Room once and that's it.

Of course. You just have to try and rest easy knowing you're a degenerate and the men who make the music that you love so much would look down on you if they met you. :)

Of course not. At least not like that. I wouldn't think they would be opposed to someone with a homemade shirt though.
