>you now remember Liam Gallagher saying he was Lennon incarnate

yes

So humble

Gem Archer is the only good Oasis musician in 2 decades.

Stupid plagiarizing idiot

Exactly, I've been saying this for years but he's the one who gets credit for saying it

The Beatles said it first.

Fill in the blank:
If Oasis was to Abbey Road
Tame Impala are to ____

Roky Erikson

Supertramp

am I the only one who hasn't heard an Oasis song outside of Wonderfall

Took him long enough to realize that.

If you've heard Wonderwall, you've heard abour half of their songs.

I'm not familiar with the band "Abbey Road".

I'm comparing them to albums. Beatles went through some changes, Oasis I'm not so sure

first two albums are 10/10 in rock genre

Some

>90s wall of sound
>early 2000s heavy and overproduced rock and roll
>acoustic and psychedelic stuff
>ballads

Last album was a mixed bag. Hate them or not they did switch things up as best they could

>britbong
>genius
pick one

>Darwin
>Brunel
>Shakespeare
>Newton
>Fleming
>Turing
>Hawking
>Gallagher

just to name a few

I used to think the only Oasis song I knew for years was Champagne Supernova (I'm sure I'd heard Wonderwall already and just not known who it was by)

Was Rory Gallagher British? I'm not sure Irish counts

Live Forever
Don't Go Away
Slide Away
Some Might Say
Don't Look Back in Anger

Wonderwall isn't even a top 5

these are the fine British gentlemen, not Britbongs.
>Gallagher
>oim8 muh lad culture
fuck off

>Don't Go Away
>Slide Away

These are good. More like this.

wtf i love oasis now

Oasis made consistently great pop rock from DM to The Masterplan and were then sporadically good for the rest of their career, mostly just the singles but they had some good album tracks on Be Here Now and Dig Out Your Soul. Oh yeah and Gas Panic is one of their best.

And for all the shit Noel gets about lyrics, Gas Panic is a perfect example that he can write great ones. Everyone here can probably relate to them.

guess he forgot bout bonehead

Noel Gallagher was the best songwriter of the 90s. Fact.

No one has written a better song than Wonderwall, DLBIA, Champagne Supernova, Live Forever or countless others in 20+ years

Oasis B-sides were 10x better than most 90s bands finest moments. If Oasis B-sides 94-96 had been used on albums, they could have legit become the biggest band of all time

I'm quite a big Oasis fan btw

>Noel Gallagher was the best songwriter of the 90s.

wannabe morrissey

noel wrote no fuss rock anthems

James Dean Bradfield
Bernard Butler

Good melodies, appauling lyricist

uninspired yeah, appalling no

he's never written totally meaningless rubbish and occasionally comes out with some really poignant stuff

not saying he's a good lyricist but he's not awful

>appauling

i like how you managed to get a Paul reference in there

Oasis are literally a one hit wonder acoustic pop band
Who cares

No they literally aren't.

You must be underage.

Also your grammar sucks so yeah you're underage.
