You really do like a lot of old stuff.

I'm really bad at lists, this is a quick one, I'm forgetting a lot.

Shit, the album that's whited-out is Cosmogramma by Flylo.

I do like a lot of old stuff haha and nice list, love the thom solo stuff. Try radiohead's 1986 demo as on a Friday, it's actually great

Yep, have heard it.

Now that I take a deep look at yours, there are some more unusual choices, like Enclosure, Mala, Niandra Lades, etc. That's pretty cool.

And fuck, I was about to put Immunity but switched it out last second, and I kinda wanted it in.

>Pet Sounds
>Other pretentious bullshit
You're the only poseur here, bub

You're the shit. I love unabashed hippies. Great taste user.

Your taste ain't bad for a nigger. Check out Big L, Eric B & Rakim, and Ram by Paul McCartney.

Nigger you say? There's only one type of race who listens to Inti Illimani and Soda Stereo.

Love EB&R, hate McCartney, haven't delved into L.

immunity is great, I wish light through the veins was on that album haha

...

I recced Ram because I saw All Things Must Pass on your chart. I usually hate Paul too, but I was pleasantly surprised by Ram. Are you an Argie?

Nope, funnily enough, I'm Chilean haha.

If you look closely, next to Birth Of The Cool, you can see Viva Chile! by Inti Illimani ;)

And now that I think about it, I never listened to Ram, someone told me it was somewhat different from Beatles and I should check it out, I will now. I should also mention I dislike everything Beatles, so Plastic Ono Band and All Things Must Pass are the only exceptions really.

How long have you been browsing Sup Forums?

this is a very colourful chart, i like it

>you're the shit
Thanks quads, got a link for that Music of Old Hawaii album?

A few months, I used to go on other forums/boards, why?

Because you asked I will upload it to mega

Thank you, I will be awaiting patiently

Because I wanted to gauge how far down the musical rabbit hole you've delved. I can tell by your chart that you clearly have an ear for what good music sounds like, but many of them are still the trendy stuff often posted here.

Have you ever listened to Sun Ra? Jazz?

Nvm, I'm just being a pretentious fuckface. Please ignore my replies. I won't bother you ever again.

mega.nz/#F!bpglyCQI!jrNv89ftyUFbr3NGRC1IEw

Hahaha it wasn't an annoying type of pretentious, more like a helpful pretentious.

I haven't been that much into Sup Forums because a few years ago I was too young and so fucking stupid I couldn't understand where to go from the Sup Forums main site. I've been around for 4 years on head-fi cause of my audio addiction, community is really stupid and elitist at times, but there are a lot of chill and nice users there, I count it as a positive.

I use reddit quite a lot, too, but not so much for music cause most subs are pretty cringey and fucking sheep-minded (fuck, the irony). For example, indieheads is the most acceptable since people there actually accept what they are, unlike hiphopheads where it's just fucking whiteboys trying to call each other out for being less black than them, plus, most of their discussions are annoying as shit. The smaller the sub, the better the content.

That's basically it. But I'd say I've dived halfway in the "musical rabbit hole" maybe, I'm just really fucking bad with lists and time, so I won't put anything I haven't heard A LOT. I literally used the "what have I listened to the most these past 3 months?" criteria for that list, nothing is definitive.

Having said that, haven't heard Sun Ra's music, have heard of him. Do like jazz, 2017 is my jazz exploring year, as much as I sound like a fag saying that. I like the more essential albums at least.

Boop

Bro, you sound cool as fuck. I can sense you're intellectually gifted as well. Thanks for typing out such a full response. Let me recc you some of my favorite albums, many of which aren't often posted on this site.

>T2- It'll All Work Out in Boomland
Even if you only have a passing interest in rock, this album is essential. This album is like a transition fossil bridging Psychedelic and Progressive Rock. T2 was three piece band led by the drummer, so the album has a strong rhythm section and SOME OF THE BEST DRUMMING I'VE EVER HEARD. Also good vocals and well structured songs. Orchestral horns and piano as well.
>Donald Byrd - Byrd in Hand
Accessible, yet very good Jazz that you would really love. Byrd's a Detroit black, so you know the music's good. Also check out Ethiopian Knights. It's an excellent Jazz Funk album from early 70's.
>Love - Forever Changes
My Favorite album. It's the album of the Summer of Love. Everything about it is good.
>Pulp - Different Class
>Madrugada - Industrial Silence (If you like Radiohead, you'll like it)
>Charles Mingus - Blues and Roots
>Fela Kuti - Zombie
>David Bowie - Station to Station
>Isaac Hayes - Hot Buttered Soul
>Curtis Mayfield - Curtis
>Al Green - Call Me

And anything else on my chart really.

>Bro, you sound cool as fuck. I can sense you're intellectually gifted as well.

No worries, man, it's cool to stop the shitposting and memes for 5 minutes and chat a bit.
