I just remembered talking to my "poorer" friend and he said that if he'd win the lottery that he'd only eat at McDonalds every day.
Also, there was this girl in our middle school class that prided herself for eating in McDonald's every week.
I sometimes sat with her and one time in English school we were "learning" about dating in Anglo countries. There was an example "you wouldn't do something like take a girl to McDonald's for the first date". She was surprised and asked why wouldn't you?
