Looking for winter jams, twee, noisy, etc.
Foggy, autumnal, or blizzards
I am not very good with metal but check out Luciano Cilo, Afrika Bambaata
Talk Talk - the colour of Spring if you haven't heard it
Thee Oh Sees -Carrion crawler/the dream
Looking for any recommendations
What's that Dale Cooper Quartet album like?
Phil Spector - A Christmas Gift for You From Phillies Records
Tim Buckley - Starsailor
It's like the soundtrack to a really gritty, but calm mystery/drama, pretty darn cool. Much less like Bohren & der Club of Gore than I expected, really takes its own approach to that whole thing.
I made my first chart last night and didnt get a chance to share it.
I know that most of the music on here is garbage, so please give me some constructive criticism
did you add me on rym the other day?
tama - tokyo fruits
simply saucer - cyborgs revisited
jasmine star - s/t
dressed in streams - the search for blood
...
Good taste IMO
>Wax Fang - The Astronaut
A lot of this feels painfully generic desu
recs appreciated
I would have put the album titles on it but I tried to upload my background image and it RELOADED THE PAGE ffs. Something tells me most of these aren't hard to figure out anyway though
That's not Galaxie 500 - On Fire next to Endtroducing is it? If it is that cover is way better than the original
What's the best New Order album? I've tried to listen to Movement and PC&L and I love the fast-paced songs but I always have to drop them because the slower-paced ones do nothing for me
Ever listened to Murmuure?
Sonny Sharrock - Black Woman
i'm late so no recs today, sorry
not that my recs are good enough to warrant giving anyways
Oh yes it is my good sir
original one was far too 90s kids for me
why don't you love Eels - Electroshock Blues yet wtf
jimbon with the quality recs, my dude
Noticed you haven't rated Talking Heads 77 yet
also Death In June's first record has been a recent enjoyment thatll suit you well
Love both of those albums, thank you though

Morning, fellas.
Why didn't you invite me

Loop - Fade Out
>BaAS moving on up
I like what I see
...
Bmp
i don't really care much for any of new order's studio stuff bar a few tracks on power corruption lies but substance is just honestly leaps and bounds ahead of anything else they've done. i'm not sure it's something you'd prefer because a lot of the tracks on there are like 5-7 minutes but the a side of substance is probably the most consistent piece of music i've ever heard
if you like the faster paced stuff though you'd probably like this, one of my absolute favorites
rateyourmusic.com
yeah the only talking heads that i really care for is their live album but i haven't delved much into the rest of their studio stuff bar remain in light, i probably should do that huh
i haven't listened to death in june in a long ass time. i have a huge hard on for gothic post punk though and this looks very nice, will report back. thx for the recs hombre

gonna review some of the recs I got last time I posted my chart earlier this week since I bet those same anons are lurking again
>Titus Andronicus
I had already listened to them in the past and I do like them but idk why people adore The Monitor so much. There are some great melodic parts but a lot of the record feels like they're chugging along just to get the words out.
>Mr. Bungle
some tracks are way better than others. Feels like they are (very proficiently) goofing around. Didn't really enjoy it as a whole though (I listened to Disco Volante and California. I liked Disco more)
>Thanksgiving - The River
had never heard of it and thought it was totally awesome. thanks user
>The Brave Little Abacus - Masked Dancers
I checked them out once before and was turned off by the singer's voice but this time it didn't bother me and the album was awesome
>Herbie Hancock
I liked it. My knowledge of jazz is extremely minimal but I'd like to listen to more so I'll take any jazz recs
>twee, noisy
ever listen to Los Campesinos?
>ska and pop punk
we should chill. check out Anamanaguchi, Jeff Rosenstock's old bands Bomb the Music Industry and The Arrogant Sons of Bitches, Alkaline Trio, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Danny Brown
nice vinyls bro
not to be a dick but I hate the sex pistols. what do you like about that album? genuinely curious. Check out Nouvelle Vague and The Depreciation Guild
The Olivia Tremor Control but you've probably already checked them out
i'm saving your chart so i can check out more jangle pop/power pop since i see you love bnl and weezer as much/more than i do
Not much, you?
...
Posting up again, I'd love a bunch of recs. Now that I'm on break, I'm in need of new stuff to watch.
Going grocery shopping in a minute here.

Collection of tracks with Herbie on the electric piano as sideman. The earlier tracks are on the jazzier side of jazz fusion, and the later tracks are on the fusioner, cheesier side of jazz fusion.
