Which trilogies follow this pattern?

Which trilogies follow this pattern?

Alien

Capitan America

The Matrix

Back to the Future

This for sure.

The Hobbit

I kinda feel bad for the woman, not too bad mind you. She just wanted to repaint it and show her love of Christ, but ended up drawing the world's ridicule.

Ghostbusters

Bingo

Ghostbusters

fuck you

...

The painting was from a literally who and nobody cared about it. It's way more valuable now.

not Sup Forums but mass effect

Gears of war.

That's really accurate

All of them

Iron Man 3

>But, two years later, the village has reassessed their attitudes and turned their ridicule into gratitude, reports the New York Times. The viral images and memes gifted the rural town with free publicity—150,000 tourists from all over the world came to see Giménez's artistic endeavor and visit the sanctuary overlooking Borja.

>"Why are people coming to see it if it is such a terrible work of art?" asked Andrew Flack, an opera librettist who traveled to Borja for research on a new production. “It's a pilgrimage of sorts, driven by the media into a phenomenon. God works in mysterious ways. Your disaster could be my miracle."

>A much-needed bolstering to the sleepy local economy ensued with restaurants opening and local and neighboring museums reporting the highest rates of visitation from the spill-over of tourists.

>“The impact of Ecce Homo has been really great for businesses," said Mr. Baya, a restaurateur who has done well enough to open a second restaurant. “Sadly, everyone heads to look at a painting that, frankly, is ugly."

>However "ugly" the fresco may be, Ecce Homo is stamped on the town's lottery tickets and nearby vineyards are fighting over the right to use the image on wine labels. It's even gotten plum positioning in a Spanish film in which thieves attempt to steal it.

The Iron Man trilogy is just the last picture three times.

Mass Effect 2 was god tier, so no.

The Matrix
The Hobbit
Men in Black
The Mummy

>the painting was obviously made by a man of talent, but only remains as such, an above average painting
>woman "ruins" it by attempting to restore it using amateurish techniques, despite her good intentions
>the painting is now world famous, despite not being as pleasing to the eye as the original

is this the essence of paintkino?

yup

jurassic park too

t. retard

The trilogy of me fucking your mom.

I liked Mass Effect 2 a lot, don't get me wrong, but the cracks and the faults were starting to show. Doubling down on action over the heady space opera elements, set ups for plot threads that went nowhere, waste of space characters (coughJacobcough), etc.

I love it, but in retrospect it was a herald of bad things to come.

>Hobbit
But the first movie is crap.

RoboCop

The Mummy

Hell no. 3 is a western first instead of sci fi, but it's still great. Meanwhile, 2 is a complete mess. After tying up the cliffhanger from 1 as quickly as possible, it devolves into nothing but gimmicky time travel antics with no substance.

Completely correct.

Fucking Shrek

All of them.

this this this, fuck the 3 is worse than 2 meme. 2 also ruins a lot of the established character elements

honestly the painting has more artistic value now than it ever did before. oh yay yet another picture of jesus christ. yet now it is a commentary on religion in the the post-modern era. not much of a loss desu

>just the first movie

I've only seen the first one but how could anyone think this fucking retarded shit was good?

"The Godfather".

The same ones as your post on Sup Forums. This one's for (you).

Twin Peaks

Correct, if you go 3->2->1, or if you apply it to Captain America 1 alone.

Star Wars

Re-Animator.

LotR
