Recc me bros

Not sure how you feel about genre fusions but, Brain Tentacles. Give them a go, only found them the other day, but really like the jazz and brass instruments amongst the heavy-ness.

You have a few similar to me, so I will recc you Chester Watson if you haven't heard him in the past. Easily became one of my favourites.

Bro, check out Mick Jenkins and maybe, as above, Chester. If you like Earl you will enjoy him.

How familiar are you with 'Yes'? Also you should get more familiar with 'Yes'

Blue Velvet
Tetsuo the Iron Man
And if you've somehow never seen it, the original Robocop is criminally overlooked for it's technical scope and sharp scriptwriting. I give it two thumbs rammed way up my butt out of 2 possible thumbs.

Thanks, I've already listened to the Wavves album and it's actually one of my favorites for roadtrips to the beach
I'm at the moment listening Past Cloaks, and Im really liking it, specially the instruments
Thank you, will listen to it asapI really like "Yes", actually, after making the chart I regreted not adding Fragile. Which album do you recommend me? I've only listened to Close To The Edge and Fragile

heard em, thanks anyways.
It's comfier, less sweaty and building calluses is fun.
same to you breh

agh maybe soon
i never feel like going back to that album

thanks
you ought to just go back to normal images of the albums, if you aren't going to take those pictures in better lighting

The Yes album is a good one. Tales from Topographic Oceans is also excellent. I used to be really into the Buggles so Drama is a personal endorsement it may not be as proggy as you like though.

y u no go back, senpai? too sad or too bad?

...

...

finally

last time i listened it just felt so-so
idk i just never feel like it's important enough that i give it another shot

I will give it a listen to the albums you mentioned.
Thank you, I'm pretty sure it might end being one of my favorite bands

>pretty god but whats with the anime soundtrack

Am I supposed to be like "it's 10/10 music but it's from an anime soundtrack so I guess it doesn't count"

People disregarding music because it comes from a soundtrack always bothers me

Great chart brian.

thank bub

And here's mine, make me recs if you want.

do you make music?

In need of recs.

Smog – Knock Knock
Taylor Deupree – Snow (Dusk, Dawn)
John Fahey – America

Ah jeez guys you should really rec others so you get recs. See how you both need recs and didnt rec anything? You could've solved each others problems pretty handily.

No, why?

you seem like a person that could cook up some sick dance beats

Oh? Thanks but... I'm not a producer like AT ALL, I've never really put my hands on music making. Maybe during holydays I'll try things with FL... maybe.

...

Bedhead: What Fun Life Was
Jim O'Rourke: Halfway To A Threeway
Pavement : Slanted And Enchanted

then put the album names on the picture u dumbass cabbage eater

u should use that insult on someone who likes RiL instead

Blood Red Shoes - In Time To Voices

nicestuff, r spark

Push - From Beyond
Goth-Trad - Mad Raver's Dance Floor
Patrick Cowley - Mind Warp

Thanks, those tracks sounds gorgeous!

Thanks, I have some queued up now.

...

why don't you like Eno/Kraut Electronic/minimalism/early electronic music in general

its boring :^)

why because no 4/4 techno beats

Almost none of my albums on this chart is techno though lol

I love you and I feel you are like 21

Ok but it's really an achievement to be a bleepfag and barely have ONE album from aforementioned genres so is it just a coincidence that none of it clicks for you or is it something specific about the music
genuinely curious btw not baiting

youtu.be/GOm2fnQBZX0

youtu.be/wrrDnosm3f8

Not really. I feel as if its easier to listen to 21st century bleeps before going to the much older electronic music. Just curious, what do you mean when you say minimalism? I've listened to alva noto and Steve Reich if that counts

would chill with/10

maybe give "You kids should know better" by Airiel a shot

if you like Tycho you may like The Field. I'd start with "Pink Sun" or "A Paw In My Face"
