He's no Otm Shank, that's for sure.

Which one?

Vietnam fucking shit got his fucking shoe-shine box and got fresh.

He was his worst nightmare.

He is one of the worst types that pursue law enforcement, a good ol boy whose real motivation is to exercise power over others to nurse an insecure ego

He didn't want no drifters in his town

He was a WW2 vet.
From their point of view Vietnam vets are just some fucked up childkillers who lost and came back all aimless.
When he and his boys came back from Europe, the went home, cleaned up, and started real careers.
What are these kids doing now? Wandering around starting shit that don't need to be started. Why not get a real job? Why not make up for fucking losing? How do you lose against a bunch of chinks? Back in our day, we knew how to deal with them.

Teasle said people round here don't like a long haired guy wearing a military jacket.

Was that still a big deal in the 80s?
Did he look like a hippie?

Teaslr was Korea at best, kid.

John Rambo was a vagrant and he didn't want vagrants stinking up his community.

Can you still get put in jail for ealking around without cash or credit card on you?

Only rambo KINO. Other parts just popcorn flicks.

>tfw saw this movie when i was 15 and started crying when Rambo broke down

He was an asshole who thought he owned the town.

Depends on the town your in. Vagrancy can be considered a crime.

in the US you can literally be put in jail for anything if the cop decides he wants to arrest you

Stallone seems like a moron but the original rambo is a fucking masterpiece.

He must be some type of idiot savant.

Original Rocky masterpiece too.

Cops in any country can do that m8.

Is he related to Jack Black?

>"We were in this bar in Saigon and this kid comes up, this kid carrying a shoe-shine box. And he says "Shine, please, shine!" I said no. He kept askin', yeah, and Joey said "Yeah." And I went to get a couple of beers, and the box was wired, and he opened up the box, fucking blew his body all over the place. And he's laying there, he's fucking screaming. There's pieces of him all over me, just..."
>"like this, and I'm tryin' to pull him off, you know, my friend that's all over me! I've got blood and everything and I'm tryin' to hold him together! I'm puttin'... the guy's fuckin' insides keep coming out! And nobody would help! Nobody would help! He's saying, sayin' "I wanna go home! I wanna go home!" He keeps calling my name! "I wanna go home, Johnny! I wanna drive my Chevy!" I said "With what? I can't find your fuckin' legs! I can't find your legs!""

Stallone is a good actore when he tries. See Rocky, First Blood and Copland.

In both these movies he does not act, he's just his own insecure, stupid self. It's when he tries things go awry.

Was not fucking ready for this.
I had no idea First Blood was this kino

But he looks a little autistic in Rambo.

With shine boxes you just can't win.

It's all explained in Rambo's breakdown.

The Vietnam vets were the first soldiers in history to be shat on by their own people. Everyone viewed them as "le evil baby killers" thanks to the media and the hippy students of the day (boomers now, surprise surprise), when in reality they weren't the bravado macho murrica soldiers jumping into Vietman to kill babies. Sure, maybe the politicians were the swaggering dicks that arrogantly thought they could stroll in and steamroll the Vietnamese in a week, but the soldiers went through hell, which Rambo explains in his breakdown.

But anyway, the Sheriff was one of those people that hated Vietnam vets

First blood was written in 1972, the same year the supreme court ruled that vagrancy laws were unconstitutional. It was a hot issue at the time.

>"wandering or strolling around from place to place without any lawful purpose or object"

Usually people were not actually arrested and they were just escorted to the edge of town and told to keep walking. This is actually what happened in the film (until rambo refused and decided to escalate things).

>The Vietnam vets were the first soldiers in history to be shat on by their own people.
Really, in all of history??

>Current day bleeding hearts and SJWs will eventually grow up and be the very thing they hated

In modern history. I was being hyperbolic

in US history.

...

i never thought of it that way

>I wanna drive my Chevy!" I said "With what? I can't find your fuckin' legs! I can't find your legs!""
