I see kids all the time, but even if they were running around in lingerie and full makeup, I still wouldn't be interested. They're small copies of developed, intelligent people without the development or knowledge. They're about as attractive to me as putting lipstick on a bundle of celery. Sexual attraction is based on a multitude of factors but, generally speaking, it's based on visual cues, pheromones, and mental stimulation.
Someone of a younger than legal age (in western countries, general 18 years) can display all of these traits.
Now the issue is, when you get to 15 year old, majority can still display those traits.
Then 12 your starting to get considerably less of those traits being present.
The 8-10 bracket your talking like 1% being able to display all those traits.
Younger than that is mathematically irrelevant.
Some counties in the world, certain European counties (and other places), the age of consent is 15 because at that point, most of those traits are present.
The problem arises when people who have outlining sexual preferences, or display attraction to those who do not have those traits, are present I. The populace.

There's something wrong with you, but it's also pretty well-known that there's no actual psychological help for it in the U.S. I'd suggest watching movies with a lot of older kids in them that aren't being sexualized. Maybe 80s/90s movies. Get yourself used to a society that isn't shoving them into pageants, make-up, and short-shorts. It's your best way to get used to kids in a non-sexual way/setting without you actually being near children until you've got a good strong psychological handle on your interests. This must be hard for you, and I feel for you, but honestly, don't hurt kids, man. Don't sexualize them. It ruins them and it's traumatic for them. Don't touch them.
I'd argue that it's the culture of secrecy and shame, and any abusive behavior enacted that does more to traumatize children than any sexual act itself does.

Not entirely. Most people experience attraction to little kids because they're impressing sexual feelings towards an object. Sort of like those faggots who like furries. Basically, most folks have experienced fleeting sexual thoughts about children, especially children after puberty when they start developing sexually. I know that I became attractive as my body grew into puberty around then; I'm into girls.
