What's your favorite Boards of Canada track?
Mine is Everything You Do is a Balloon
What's your favorite Boards of Canada track?
Roygbiv
happy cycling
dawn chorus
BoC is boring. Seven Forty Seven, 5D, and Gyroscope are their only good songs from their 700+.
>Seven Forty Seven
lol boc boring?
you are obviously too poor to afford a good stereo system with good bass. Go listen to music has the right to children on a nice system and come back you poor piece of shit
Northern Plastics
dayvan cowboy, everything else is shit
This is the correct answer.
Close 2nd
seven forty seven at both rpm's is quite possibly one of the greatest songs ever made
olson
Aquarius is a banger
Telephasic Workshop and Sixtyten are also great
Peacck tail
julie and candy
All of these plus Everything You Do Is A Balloon. FUCKING love BOC, really makes me feel something emotional when I hear their music. Something about the psychedelic colors emonating from their synth sounds. They should've let mid 00's AnCo remix them.
Seven Forty Seven
An Eagle In Your Mind
or Turquoise Hexagon Sun
or Nothing is Real
Aquarius
All good choices, I'll add Iced Cooley from Twoism
No one ever talks about that track but it's one of their tastiest short tracks
turquoise hexagon sun
roygbiv
1969
jacquard causeway
the smallest weird number
olson u fuckin idiots
i remember when i first listened to boc
>Tastiest
Strangely i know exactly what you mean, such a satisfying track. I love to play it in my car all the way up.

FUCK I CAN'T BELIEVE I HAVEN'T HEARD 747 UNTIL NOW
IT'S LIKE WHEN I REALIZED BOC DID A PEEL SESSION AND I GOT LIKE MY FOUR FAVE BOC TRACKS (THAT IS, INCLUDING XYZ) ALL AT ONCE
Hard to choose
I'll go with this:
youtube.com
Sixtyten
>ctrl-F
>No Kid For Today
My first and probably my favorite listen out of BoC.
bocuma
olson
in the annexe
those short reflective tracks are the best and real mind fucks
julie and candy
Pete standing alone
Open the light
One very important thought
Happy cycling
It's the single best four track progression in music history. I listen to that album every day
I love those tracks but Happy Cycling deserves to be the penultimate track. OVIT is such a perfect closer and having Happy Cycling come after it seems so out of place. Weird complaint, I know.
I think it's an almost perfect closer, I just wish the beginning was about half as long
Happy Cycling is a bonus track from a reissue, so technically one very important thought is the closer.
The beach at redpoint
Alpha and Omega, the percussion gets me hard.
Also Aquarius Version 3 from Peel Sessions.
You tell me.
lulz

Sometimes the obvious answer is the correct answer.
Forest Moon. A Few Old Tunes is so underrated.

>that feel when every song title by your favorite artist is non-sensical because they are a gimmicky stereotypical indie/alt-rock/pop-punk band
+1
That song sounds like drinking a lemon-lime icee with the mushy ice
