non of their rockets can reach the US mainland
non of their nuclear weapons can be put on missals anyway
China has said multiple times they will step on Kim if he destabilizes Korea
this is nothing new and that's why no one is taking it seriously as it's 100% rhetoric for North Korean PR so they can look strong in front of their people

Kim is under no circumstances going to jeopardize his life or leadership. He knows that he's gonna get glassed the moment he launches something off. Everything so far has been done to boost morale and to wave bigger sticks at people so they don't try to mess with him.

So? They are still considered at war with the South.
They do this every year during our war games. I was stationed on the DMZ for a few tours providing escort security and monitoring for the US Army.
They will do this next year too.
They don't have the man power or weapons to even remotely strike us.
If you visit the DMZ in person, you can tell that the NK soldiers are very small and malnourished.
They had change of guard every 2 hours because they are so weak to stand on their own.
