The genre is stable right now, its not growing like it was a year or 2 ago. What matters is that emerging artists continue to build a dynamic style while helping one another grow. If the artists starts to make good tracks that have appeal outside of the community, then we'll be good.

Soundcloud threads are always like this, they have been for years. Styles change but people have always been rarely willing to listen and give feedback to music outside of their genre.

ur flow is kinda awkward, i'd say try to "feel" the beat by maybe even adding ur own percussion to really get the groove right

and in general, especially for SC rap, quality > quantity. Do freestyles everyday in different styles, but try to only release mostly finished stuff if ya wanna stand out

ur drums need to be more present in the mix, and in general i think more distinct samples/synths for this to stand out in the crowd
