No, women have been treated unfairly for thousands of years, that has not changed. The new intersectional feminist movement, is about equality for everyone, and it acknowledges that everything is connected and that these issues are complex, there are good and bad sides to things. I know there are some whining anti-men feminists but those aren't people that get the true meaning of feminism, in my opinion.

The general situation is that men are adored for their strength and women are adored for their beauty. Saying that one or the other should not be allowed is pretty much declaring a war on a gender. If feminists believe gender roles are oppressive, they should be putting a lid on them for both genders. But what do we see? We see that feminists want to ban sexualization of women, but at the same time sexualization of men is increasingly celebrated and encouraged in the name of liberation. This ubiquitous hypocrisy is infuriating.
