Like 80% of us don't even take Calculus and more than 60% do not take Physics. We have been the largest nation in the developed world for decades, and as a result the economic and science capital of the world. Far too many Americans are too complacent in education and it doesn't help our education in general is subpar (most students should be experienced in Algebra before 9th grade). It is starting to show now that grad schools and white collar jobs are becoming increasingly occupied by foreigners. We do have the best institutions of learning though. The people who attend the colleges you have listed above are like .1 percent of all college students let alone the general populace
