I like more the "atmosphere" of Seventh Son than The Number of the Beast, but I agree it's a matter of taste. Although I love every album except Fear of the Dark and No Prayer for the Dying.

I'm not an oldfag so I don't really like vinyl. The extra noises bother me too much when listening at very loud volumes.
Also, according to this study, SACD isn't that much better than normal CD quality at standard volumes. aes.org
So, I don't go out of my way to look for an SACD version if it's available. FLAC of a normal CD is fine for me, or vinyl FLAC if CD MP3 is the only other option.
