Lil Yo was Yo Gotti's first hiphop name when he was young. He was rapping at like 14 and got huge when he was around 15-16. His debut is an underground classic and in my opinion the best hiphop record made by a teenager.

The thing is that the rappers/producers he mentions all sample a lot of memphis music so I was curious if he knew any of them because if he did he would realize that his statement that all the acts he mentioned "revolutionizing" hiphop are just emulating southern hiphop and aren't original in any sense of the word.
